Hi, I worked as a consultant and need to travel frequently. Can i deduct the travel/petrol allowance which is RM 2400 from my income tax? if yes, under which section?

Edit: or is it directly deduct from gross salary?

If I'm not mistaken you have to add the travel/petrol allowance to your income tax instead of deducting it.....
