Guys.. 1 stupid question, but i still want to know.
If let say, after minus out everything, I only need to pay goverment rm1K maximum for tax then If let say i bought a new laptop at rm3K and add into my claims. The amount that i need to pay to goverment is:
1) zero and government pay me back zero
2) zero and goverment need to pay me back rm2K coz max can claim for computer is rm3K.
Logically I think the answer is suppose no 1. We can only claim back what we paid. For eg: i paid income tax rm18K peryear. Maximum i can claim back is RM18K. Just to be on the safe side, can somebody confirm this?
Another thing is, better we pay monthly(PCB) or pay lum sum? I mean, everymonth we still can put aside the money in ASB or something to get some dividens or interests and will be accumulated and use that to pay the income tax. Will that is a better/wise option?
for your information the 3K laptop is relief not rebate there u cannot use to deduct your tax payable u only allowed to deduct your total income. If let say, after minus out everything, I only need to pay goverment rm1K maximum for tax then If let say i bought a new laptop at rm3K and add into my claims. second you are require to pay pcb if your salary reach the range set by irb.u employer will definately deduct your salary and remit to irb because if they fail to do so they have to pay the penalty.
