I'm not sure if anyone is able to help me but I'm out of options. My Lumia 930 suddenly had a black screen of death (unable to start up and unable to reinstall with windows) so I dropped off at a Nokia collect center to be sent for repair (it is still under warranty).........

And that was almost 1 month ago... Trying to get it fix has been a horror.

First I found out Microsoft/Nokia does not have a dedicated service center and thus they subcontracted the servicing job to a subcontractor Mobiletechnic (www.mobiletechnic.com).

Then they found out the issue is with the motherboard and the company does not have any spare parts at all. They are waiting from microsoft to send them over a replacement motherboard. The request was sent on 3rd of September.... I called them up and as of today they still do not have the parts.

Tried to contact microsoft through their chat services and they only tell me to contact mobiletechnic and there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO. They don't even have the information about my phone repair.

Is there anything I can do about it? Any suggestion??

TL;DR: Send a phone for nokia warranty, and waited for almost 1 month. Told by the repair center (which is a subcontractor of microsoft) they still do not have replacement parts till today.

buy a cheap, spare phone. Eventually they will receive the stock needed to repair your phone.
Otherwise, you can contact Microsoft customer service again and ask whether the warranty is international and you can send the phone to Singapore for repair. They have official service center there.

No offense, but bad experience I had with them. New issue arises after fixed. Good luck bro. One of the reason I jumped ship

My 1 week old Lumia 735 touchscreen was suddenly not responding to touch. Sent it to JB service centre @ Danga City Mall.

Received the phone back just after 1 week with screen replaced.

Kudos to Microsoft Mobile!

It will probably take sometimes, afaik they do not keep stock of phone main board, last time my friends 1320 main board takes around 4-6 weeks to arrive, LCD screen 1-2 weeks.

Mobile technics should be burnt down. Early last year I sent in my 920 4 times to fix a simple battery problem. 1st time, they only did hard reset. 2nd time, antenna not working. 3rd time, GPS not working. 4th time, Bluetooth not working. Made many complaint reports to Nokia and nothing was done. End up I traded in my phone for an android at a huge loss
