Service: Auto door lock and tire deflation detection (Enabled via Software / No additional hardware required)

I offer service to enable this on the Ford Focus MK2/MK3 (> 2009)

Auto door lock
Car central locks will automatically lock when speed exceeds 7km/h.
No more manual locking or forgetting to lock.
Reduce risk of car hijacking or robbery at traffic lights due to unlocked doors.

Deflation detection
It works using ABS sensors instead of in wheel TPMS sensors.
No additional hardware is required.
When ABS system senses irregular tire rotational speed, it will alert driver to check tire pressure.

Once I have activated both, will Ford Service Center noticed it? If yes, will they then void my warranty as we fiddle with the ECU directly.

Thanks. smile.gif

Sorry for late reply.

Since it is native Ford function, we just enable it, it should not be considered void warranty. It is also reversible. In fact they will ask you how you did it and they will want to enable it for their customers too smile.gif

So unless you are claiming warranty on the specific part, they usually won't hassle you on these things.
