 image stabilization vs double anti blur

so far, i've seen sony with their double anti-blur technology and canon with their optical image stabilizer...but which one's better???

and any other camera tht offers image stabilization???

shaky hand can cause blurness, if the object is moving fast like lion dance, can also have blur pics.

post the blur pic you took, may be someone can help you.

Well if the cam is able to produce less noise at higher ISO's then can use faster shutter speed to backup the Image stabilizer as well.

Yup. Double anti-shake from Sony is what I've seen so far besides the normal antishake(High ISO) or IS. But I won't fall for that at the moment.

Not that I support Sony but the Double Anti Blur is amazing, especially when I tried it on a T30, I set the timer to snap at 10 seconds, hit the switch and swing the digicam around like a helicopter blade and when it snapped, the picture turned out PERFECT.

I am planning to get a Ixus 850IS and I hope the IS works as well as the Double Anti Blur.

Yo Pennywise, I was told that OIS for Panasonic works better than VR or IS (in prosumer/compact). Perhaps you should try it out first? biggrin.gif

I know la dude but then I am not just looking at ONE feature... Overall feature 850IS is currently the best there is, for me at least... Panasonic, pict too much noise ler.

what about olympus ? i heard certain models have it. i plan to get the olympus 720SW. it comes with image stablisation. does it do any good ??? for what, the shaking hands or the moving objects ?
