Just to share my experience today.

When lunch hour, I rush to Maybank Desa Jaya. At the counter, I tell them I wan to topup ASW units but they say system down.

Not to discourage, I show them my aspire debit card and tell them : "oh like this ah, then I rather transfer all my fund to other bank then."
The teller say hold on and call upstairs enquiry something.
after hang up, she issue me a number and ask me to try coz dunno system working or not.

I go upstairs and tell the amoi I wan topup ASW, she manage to topup 3k for me only say already full.

Then I wan open new account, she help me to open both ASM & AS1M account and help me topup more into both account.

So I manage to fish :

- Open ASM & AS1M account
- topup 3k to ASW, 12k to ASM, 5k to AS1M

Amoi tell me ASW very popular, unit keep getting full, but for ASM & AS1M no worry cannot topup.

letak MBB FD 4.5% for 1yr

nope... still need to go to dedicated ASX counter. just happen that when I visit, no one is there.

So the amoi pay full attention to my needs.

I manage to get 3k only...

balance have to masuk ASM & AS1M. dunno worth it or not.

itu amoi from counter tell me ASW now really hot, unit keep getting grabbed.

but for div wise. ASM 6.6% while ASW n AS1M 6.4%

and you are right, get account is main objective.

Plus side while waiting for account to open is look at the amoi

I see I see, I ask amoi what about her, got open for herself since everyday she deal with ASX.

she only have ASM account and I ask her why not open ASW, she say no money lol.

AS1M divvy for 2009 is 6.38% if I m not mistaken, much higher than FD.

Brought my friend to same branch open ASW and look at the amoi .

too bad this time ASW no unit left, so fren cannot open ASW, ended up open ASM & AS1M only.

and we don't mind the process of opening accounts and topping up take 1 hour.

Usually only can find in public bank or hong leong bank.

Hopefully lucky star keep shining on us all.

Last year 100 unit also cant topup.

This year manage to topup

ASW - 10k
ASM - 15k
AS1m - 5k

Hopefully with more bullets coming in, I can topup more before end of 2015.

no bullet now, waiting for month end when salary masuk and FD mature.

So for now I can see cannot eat.

Ehh today is my unlucky day then.... unable to load any units to ASW, ASM and AS1M due to no units available.
