I guess because of the "1Msia" name on it & also the fund carry foward the least amount compare with ASM & ASW Ultimate Discussion of ASNB (47457-V), Wholly owned subsidary of PNB (38218-X)

QUOTE(smartinvestor01 @ Nov 4 2015, 01:35 PM) The information from AR 2015 (ASW2020) stated that dividends received would not be taxed due to the single tier taxation practice since 2008.. I'm more worried about the so-called change year end As such, I believe that the exemption on tax for income distribution would not longer be an issue.. will it go on or biz as usual |

QUOTE(wayn3san @ Nov 4 2015, 01:22 PM) Ok guys. Sounds good to me. Appreciate all your inputs for a newbie like me. what I know both m2u & cimbclicks only can top-up AS1M fund online. others fund keep rejected by the system I'll try to go to the counter and try with rm100. can we use m2u or cimbclicks to purchase additional funds online? Thanks a bunch! |

Received my ASW2020 statement for 2015 today
I see got one "extra" weird detail below Yuran Tahunan HA/PA & GST 6% Yuran tahunan HA/PA. its called "Bayaran Balik Pinjaman" @ Pinjaman dari Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri (UPEN) since when we can take loan to invest in ASW2020 |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 4 2015, 08:26 PM) What are you talking about ? I did not see these infos in the statement sent to me in 2014. Neither did I see these wordings in the ASM statement sent to me in June this year. I'm talking about ASW2020 not ASM last year don't have. tis year statement have wor. u go see yourself when u receive it QUOTE(Vincent9696 @ Nov 4 2015, 08:31 PM) Yes, by snail mail This post has been edited by nexona88: Nov 4 2015, 08:34 PM |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 4 2015, 09:00 PM) Yes, aware of the fact that it's in the ASW statement that you saw those notifications imbedded-in. I was comparing against last year's ASW statement and this year's ASM statement since I have not received my ASW statement for this year yet... that's why i ask why have the "extra" weird detail on the statement. Normally the Non-Bumi categories of the ASX FP Funds and hence, their statements have quite similar characteristics, though not exactly the same,... so ASM does not have these wordings,... what do they mean, Nexona,.. Wil,... ? I donno have loan from Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri (UPEN) to invest in ASW2020 |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 4 2015, 09:14 PM) I somehow feel that the words don't mean how much we have paid back to the state Gov't on the amount that we have borrowed,... it's got something to do with the State Economic Planning Unit (EPU)'s dealings with the PNB. Some movements of funds somewhere out of PNB !!!!! no no u got all wrong.the item is under Tolak / minus. gross dividend (RM) - items under "Tolak" (RM)* = nett dividend (RM) @ reinvested into new units * 1. HA/PA => Hibah Amanah / Pengisytiharaan Amanah * 2. GST 6% HA/PA =>(6% x 5/12 x Yuran Tahunan HA/PA) * 3. Pinjaman dari Unit Perancangan Ekonomi Negeri (UPEN) nothing to do with PNB dealing with State EPU |

okay. somehow I understand what the item 5 means. (I could be wrong too).
State EPU give out loans to hardcore poor people to invest in ASW2020. Payment of the loans is done by minus the dividend received yearly how much the loan rate & amount give, I don't know |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 4 2015, 10:54 PM) Yeah,... this sounds reasonable,... I guessed we need to confirm this with ASNB. yeah right. so much discussion. Wow,.. never had so much discussion over an evening abt ASX FP Funds. but still cannot beat the previous "changes from FP to VP" issue. that't one I think got 100 post |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 4 2015, 11:04 PM) but u see, even have state EPU involved in FP ASx fund (hardcore poor people invested via loans). if ASNB really change into VP, then the people who have loans from EPU could "suffer" now I understand why they reply in the e-mail saying as "national interest" |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 4 2015, 11:23 PM) That's the tickle here - if ASW2020 has this loan facility thing for some people. then this would be the second point supporting the fact that the ASW2020 might be safe from a conversion, similar to the ASB and the ASB2. ASM yes, but AS1M we needed to wait for 2015 statement & see if have same loan thingy Bear in mind that for the ASM and the AS1M - there is no loan facility tied to their units being used as collaterals. |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 5 2015, 01:44 AM) Actually it's the national EPU under the PM's Dept that is giving out the loan. Interest-free to the unitholder, and the unitholder will get to enjoy the dividend payout every year till end-of-life. It's called ASW2020-Bandar. wow u really did your research. and u reply me @ 1.44am http://myadha.blogspot.my/2010/06/asw-2020...skin-tegar.html http://www.umno-online.my/2010/06/24/pm-la...mbah-sejahtera/ Thw units do not really 'reach' the unitholders' hands. The units are 'imaginary', and the Gov't will just credit the dividend 'earned' by each unitholder into the unitholder's account every year. That field in the depositor's book about the payback must be a field for the recording of the unitholder's actions pertaining to these 'imaginary' units, whatever they may be. Since the units do not actually drop into the unitholder's hands, and the unitholder has no means to sell away the units, it does not really matter what the nav is, should the units convert from FP to VP next year. ... anyhow thanks for the info. |
