If the account number for ASM and ASW2020 are the same, would it affect our flexibility to try over the counter?

If curious as I heard many opinions about this.. blush.gif

Few years back when i was doing sales, an officer from RHB informed me that once all funds has been upgraded, a person can only try once over the counter but i am not sure whether the one time refers the chance to try deposit in multiple different FP, or can only opt to try for 1 FP at a time..

Which means if i have three FP funds, i can only opt to try one of the three funds over the counter.. if not successful, i need to try again by taking number again..

But this information is not validated..

Not true. I have topup many times (repeatedly cause scared to be greedy to try one lump sum) for ASM before and no such thing about trying only once.

Oh.. what i heard is from different account (e.g: .. maybe when ASW2020 new passbook is ready, can try..

The information from the RHB officer might also be biased and inaccurate also because that officer try to promote ASG and Imbang after informing me about this.,.

tis I think because the banks don't want to have 1 customer doing transaction OTC take long time. it may affect their KPI sweat.gif thus take another number. so when u take another number, u consider as another customer laugh.gif

Today took an unplanned hunting trip to ASNB & CIMB.

According to an ASNB staff:
- a new ASW passbook will definitely be put into action on 23/11/15
- unitholders can replace their old passbook to the new one beginning next Monday
- just bring along IC & old passbook for the change
- only be able to switch for oneself, not other third party account (except for children under age 18)

According to a CIMB staff:
- ratified every detail as stated by the ASNB staff
- the supply of new ASW passbooks has arrived & is available for use next week
- staff was not send to complete a training course, but was informed about the whole lot of conversion through emails

Things that slipped my mind a.k.a. forgot to inquire:
1. Real-time ASW unit availability through the new system
2. The something very interesting is coming soon, probably in the first quarter of 2016 as posted by Mr Gray a few days ago

Sekian, harap maklum.

Important to note the above is only available at ASNB branches and not at agents. So, we're most likely going to get the same "sorry unit dah habis" excuse from agents doh.gif

Since we are supposed to change to new passbook, the ASNB staff simply print mine yesterday...the amount purchased does not parallel with the numbers on the left laugh.gif

The question I'd like to inquire the ASNB staff was does the system really reflect real-time units & not delayed...but it completely slipped my mind.

It's real-time
Having said tat, counter staff advised straight top up instead of check availability 1st
Reason being is it takes time to exit from 1 menu (check bal) to another menu (top up)
By the time press 'ok' button, units may have been gone
