If one big lump sum deposit, it needs officer to validate ("override")  the transaction, before it goes thru the ASNB system, and it takes some times.

RM10K or below no need such validation (some bank 20K below)

Today try top up ASW at Maybank for 3.8 k...at 12.00 pm , the banker tried a few time cannot even masuk RM 100 he said. he tried to scale down from 3.8 to 100....dont think he is lying because he was doing it a few times and bank was rather empty...

Then later at 12.45 I tried at CIMB and managed to get 3.8....

so the question is....are there really that much funds left, i.e. in the  millions? Doubt tats the case for ASW....

I also tried around 12pm and 1:30pm at same maybank branch but both ASW and ASM are not available.  Oscar maybe

Withdraw AS1M, tried to buy ASW but failed, tried to put back AS1M failed as well. Ever thought of this scenario.

bankers might "play u off". be careful.  they're desperately needed funds from customer now. try to "locked" funds by FD or others investment offered by them 

As far as I know, contra can be use using maybank account. But contra using another ASX, never try before. Just do like I said. Topup ASM, then produce your other book to withdraw.
