Please note that in most of the cases cashback is only generated if the transaction is done on a merchants site that is from the same nation as the card issuer.

This means that the merchant and the cardholder both should be from the same nation.
For example, if a credit card id from a Malaysian bank and the purchase is done at a merchants location in Kenya then in most of the cases cashback will not appear. Hope that helps.
