Ipad's thread seems quite these past few days, and seems no one is excited about the new iPad mini 4. As a drone flyer, i'm excited with ipad mini 4 for several reasons.

Things that good about iPad mini 4:
- Finally a comparable display with iPad Air 2, with 101% color gamut, laminated and anti glare coating.
- Processor upgrade (not A8X tho, but still better than A7).
- RAM upgrade (2gb, with support of split view multitasking).
- Louder speaker.
- Thinner and lighter.

Now can buy from Apple Store Singapore, wonder when it will arrive here and how much its going to cost (thanks to our free falling ringgit).

i hope ipad mini 4 doesn't have the same low colour gamut as the previous mini 3.

From what I read the display now is comparable with iPad Air 2, so lets hope its better than the older minis.

Now I waiting for 2 stuff to be confirmed:
1) Battery Life compare to iPad mini 2/3
2) Color Gamut compare to iPad mini 2/3 or Same as iPad Air 1/2

Weird thing is even tho its already on sale from the announcement date, nobody is doing any review on it. The closest is hands on from Anandtech regarding its display.

Mini 4 has single cell battery at 5124 mah as opposed to larger capacity Mini 3 dual cell battery at 6471 mah.

Apple claim to have same battery life as Mini 3 but I'm not feeling optimistic.

perhaps due to refined manufacturing process and architecture of A8 chip itself contributing to better power efficiency of mini 4, which is maybe why Apple so confident with same battery life with lower battery capacity.

the main question is when its going to be on sale here

Probably a lot sooner than ipad pro. I'm just guessing.

I'm happy that the teardown revealed 2gb ram.

DirectD already got stock for 64gb gold wifi only ipad mini 4, guessing its SG set.

iPad mini 4 is basically a smaller version of Air 2, and the good thing is it improved the color gamut.

Color Gamut is okay then the rest pretty much a green light to go. I read that tear down battery size are smaller around 500mAh.. not how does it effect on Apple so call 10 hours of battery life claims.

When will be this Ipad Mini 4 arrive in Malaysia? It maybe my first tablet device?

Went to Machines at Garden, the staff there only gave estimated end of year/early next year answer.

But if i were to predict, for ipad mini 4 it can happen next month, ip6s around november and ipad pro early next year.

Alright then, the ipad mini 4 has 101% sRGB Color Gamut. Finally the screen is just as great as ipad air 2. I'm sold.
