I have this and not sure what I can do to determine if the bag is genuine or knockoff?

it looks fake to me

the color, the printing , the logo

try smell it , if u smell those strong chemical

then its 100% fake

If you want a 100% confirmation, send it to a boutique in KL / wherever.

Yeah that's the issue, my city (Penang) got no Chanel shop.

It doesn't have a strong chemical smell, but it doesn't smell like Leather either

which part of penang you are in? I am in penang too.
I am just curious how you got that bag? is it a gift?

by the way it doesnt look like a genuine one. My friend owns one and that's confirm a genuine one as i was there with her in the channel outlet.
the interior was red/marroon/winered (i couldnt differentiate those colours, but it's definitely not brown)

and the leather looks fake too. channel do not use smooth leather.

If the fabric inside has lots of Chanel logos, it's probably a fake
