I have some question wanna to ask regarding about the Windows 10 BIOS update.

1)If i want to send my laptop to illegear office for update the BIOS of my illegear z5, did i need to pay any service charge?

2)if i just want to update the BIOS only without upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 it's okay? I want upgrade BIOS just for standby to upgrade windows 10 in the future.

Did you recommend me to update the BIOS without upgrade windows 10?

Dear Prince J,
I found my z5 charge having some problem which is sometime can charge sometime cannot. When is not charge i try to move the adapter & the charge wire sometime it will start charging and a while is not charge again and i also realise when the charger is charging i feel the aluminum (white place at the keyboard, when typing we put the hand palm on the surface) feel have electric. May i know did the z5 charger is included in warranty list ?

The UK power cord is the part from wire to the plug head to the adapter ? If really is the charger part problem, it have warranty ?

I tested the UK Power Cord by replacing the other brand laptop UK Power Cord, it back to normal now. So did i need to bring my UK Power Cord to your office for replace under warranty ?

A few questions again need to ask. If i claim my UK power cord with warranty, did the remaining warranty 1 year+ (I just bought around February 2015) still available ? how much that the UK power core did you guys selling ?

Currently i have a illegear z5 v2 with only installed HDD. If i wanna to add in a ssd what would i need it before i install the ssd ? Just buy ssd and install it ?

Prince J, Sometime i click the secret key the logo (example : Logo "Turbo Boost ON", "Turbo Boost OFF" and all the logo for each secret key) is not appearing after i clicked the key. Any solution for that ? It function (I tested by click MAX fan is function but also not logo appear) when i click just the logo didnt appear in my screen. Also tested by run the MarcoKey software still the same.

My illegear 5z v2 charger adapter is suddently not charging when i was halfway playing a game. If still under warranty did i can send it to illegear office to fix ? ( before this i have exchanged the UK Cord cable at illegear office when under warrenty when near chrismas if i not mistaken ). If i plan to buy a new adapter what should i take note ? Or did you guys sell the adapter with what price ?

My Z5 v2 (GTX 960M version) battery percentage became very weird since yesterday, the percentage keep dropping even i switched on my charger. I first realise this issue is during i playing a game yesterday until the battery level drop below then half, i switch on the charger, but after a while my laptop shut down by itself. After i realise that i do my testing today, then i realise my battery percentage keep dropping even i put my charger on but it detected in plugged in & charging and the green light at the adapter also light on. After i done a few times of testing (With different plug) i realise sometime it charge like normal (The p[ercentage is increase and the adapter feel warm after long time charge) sometime not (But computer detected plugged in and charging just the percentage keep dropping, and i feel the adapter is not turn warm even switched on for long time). I also realise that the battery percentage is not running very well like normal (The percentage is jump thru, like when i plug in and charging is show 60% but i realise it didnt charge physically then i switch off and the percentage directly show just left 40%).

Wanna to ask did anyone using Z5 v2 (GTX 960M version) that facing the problem i'm facing now and what is the hardware that make this issue normally ? Charger or battery ?

Sorry to disturb you time for reading my long "story" because i just wanna to know the real problem then only i decide wanna to send into illegear HQ (because my warranty is expired) or i solve it by myself.

How much it cost for new battery replacement for z5 v2 ?

Thank you for the PM, i tested to use it until very low and try to recharge my battery (repeat doing this) in few days. Currently the problem didn't happen anymore, i not sure what is going on that cause this problem. What i can predict now is maybe the plug issue that i charged in somewhere (because i moving everywhere with my laptop, so always will charge in different port at outside). I will still keep testing it.

I not use but i installed in my laptop just incase any problem happen and needed to use. Actually depend on yourself whether which software you wanna to use, different user like different software but it perform a same task.

i suggest open an Illegear users Club Facebook Group....
