Had been thinking to order the Z5. Saw from the website Z5 Skylake this time come with the 2 cover options. Anyone prefer the plastic cover over the aluminum cover? Is it worth the upgrade?

The aluminum cover look nice but the plastic cover seems quite sexy as well  Any thoughts on the covers?

I found my z5 charge having some problem which is sometime can charge sometime cannot. When is not charge i try to move the adapter & the charge wire sometime it will start charging and a while is not charge again and i also realise when the charger is charging i feel the aluminum (white place at the keyboard, when typing we put the hand palm on the surface) feel have electric. May i know did the z5 charger is included in warranty list ?

The UK power cord is the part from wire to the plug head to the adapter ? If really is the charger part problem, it have warranty ?

I tested the UK Power Cord by replacing the other brand laptop UK Power Cord, it back to normal now. So did i need to bring my UK Power Cord to your office for replace under warranty ?

guys im intend to upgrade to win 10 from 8.1
So do i need to update my bios first?
Then only go for win10
After that should i need to reinstall my drive again?

Hi guys planning to grab z5 last day tmr black friday sales.  Jst minor concern on the heat solution and warranty. Is it worth it to get 3 years warranty @rm399. And on heat issue, how long can i game?  Maximum. If run this machine as torrent?

I'm experiencing ping spike from 18 to 200ms+ ( in game ) in 1 sec randomly, but not on my other friend's laptop.. we're in the same game.

windows 8.1 i downloaded the lstuff from the link in this thread first page yesterday. not sure whether i run it correct or not. or isit the latest or not

how do i install it? i double clicked it just now, and then my wifi suddenly auto disabled. after i restart my comp then its up. does it means the process is done?

guyz, if i wanna change my windows 8.1 into windows 10, all i havta to is to download the bios after i make the change?

the BIOS all on the first page are the latest right? is it hard to reflash the bios? or its advisable to bring it over to illegear instead?

btw i've updated the Wireless driver already, still the same. I'm experiencing ping spikes but my friends are not.

Can i know how to correct back the color profile after upgrade to Window 10?
After load back the previous profile that on window 8, the color seem like deem a bit.

so, my 870M decided to die on me last week...2 months after warranty expired     

temps were always good and im fanatical about cooling. so i know i didnt overheat it.

changing to a new card is gonna cost me 2.2k.

was wondering if its actually possible to repair it? any suggestions? or perhaps there is a second hand 870M i can buy?

Aiya, my apologies. Posted in wrong illegear thread. It's not a Z5, I believe it's a D7 or RX series.

Mine is a Clevo 177SM-A body. Every country sells it under a different name, here it's illegear, mine was bought under the name Terrans Force in China while I was working there last year.

Internals are still all the same.

I never use HDMI before since the day I purchased. It's the first time I used last week and it just won't detect the projector. I was bringing my laptop for a live event and it ends up couldn't detect display :'(
