is 960m good enough for dota 2 max setting? 

Guys, My Z5 suddenly doesn't load Razer Synapse, Spotify and a few more programs at startup. Even my Ethernet Logo at the bottom disappeared. I couldn't even head into Advance settings for my Ethernet. What's happening!?

Google also isn't loading.

None that I know off.. I remembered I just left the Laptop on for the entire day prior to this happening.

got the beast with me today..tried a few games and the performance was great..
i totally enjoy my new gaming experience with Z5..

the only issue for me is i need to take some time to familliar myself with the keyboard..
oh,the keyboard does feel a lil warm during gaming..i guess this is normal rite?

other than that, i'm glad i pick Z5 and not the other brand..
my family members also praised the graphic of this notebook as it is very bright and
lively..they're quite suprised when i told em about illigear and its laptop..

@Prince J, the CPU fan not spinning again today. I have to manually use a pin to move it a lil to make it spins. Can I confirmed this as hardware fault? Mid sem break coming soon might go to KL again for the second visit. Can this be fixed on the spot?

Any charges for the inspection? How much to extend the warranty (3 years bring in and 3 years on-site)?

may i know z5  gtx970m average idle and load temperature cpu and gpu?

yesterday managed to dw skyrim, played 1 hour.

max gpu temp 65c-70c @65% usage
max cpu temp 75c -  80c @ 15%-25% usage

is dis normal?

anyway for secondary storage (game/work folder) (1TB 7200rpm Hitachi Hard Drive) and (500GB Seagate Solid State Hybrid Drive) will make big diff performance? 

How many out there are having same problem as me ? I checked my cpu temperature during gaming just now. It reached 9x Celsius. (cpu fan not spinning) . Just afraid that sometimes when the fan doesn't kick in , it burns my cpu.

A question for CPU temperature.

My CPU hit 82c during gaming (MSG Phantom Pain-all high settings), whereby the GPU not even 80c yet. Turbo boost was disabled by set the max processor rate to 99% in power settings. Normal ceiling fan no aircond, laptop sit on solid surface (wood) or glass flat surface table. Is this normal?

I tested in aircond room (temperature around 25-26c), same settings for all, CPU still get 76c.

My machine is applied with the diamond IC, I wonder if without will it gets to 90c?

I also have similar problem... when playing Counter Strike GO... if enable turbo it hit 97 Degree celcius... GPU only 61 degree dunno why.  disable turbo hit 75 degree

I do sometimes get above 80°C, turbo off, no aircon only fan but during afternoon. Put on a laptop cooler.

Prince J, the warranty for our z5 by default is 1 year right? ( cover everything? )

btw will it hurt the speaker by using program to boost sound volume? cuz i find that the volume kinda low

Mine default was 2 years carry in warranty. It's best you check your invoice.
Agreed with the volume, don't know is the settings, speaker or clip issue...Suddenly loud suddenly soft...

Yay! I just got my Z5 GTX970 Friday.
I downloaded GTA V and wanted to play this long waited game.
When i open the game, there's a pop up message saying that my pc dont meet the minimum video memory requirement. Hence I choose to go in from Safe Mode (lower quality it says).
There's a FPS test, my result is just 10-12 FPS from all the video. And when I play, the game cant run smoothly, Help! I suppose my Graphic card is more then enough to play this???? HELPPPPP

Today i discover that when i play dota2 when all hero using skill..i will get lag..haih..my laptop prob or just 970m not so power..dissapointed alot

just got my Z5 few days ago....

and i have installed diablo 3...

i played it with LAN but the latency is fluctuate above 600ms....

i'm using the same LAN on my PC but the latency only fluctuate below 200ms....

anyone have any clue what caused this problem?

Installed all z5 win10 drivers since day 1.
Not to mention I confused with the drivers. Which one are necessary? There are drivers like QTRadio which I don't know what's the function of it..

i can't update my driver to version 358.87 and still using the geforce 345.05
the message shows "unable to connect to Nvidia,try again later"

my internet connection is working fine...running Windows 7..
any advise pls

nowadays, im regularly getting [plugged in,  not charging]. also when charging i can feel little static on my palm.



normal? and how u guys charge your laptop? charge it everytime u use it or let it drain till low first?
