Hello all, it had been awhile since I was here.
Well, I frequently use my laptop while plugged in.
As present, even at 89% of battery power, it can only last less than 2 hours.
While it was plugged in, it shows plugged no charging, at 90-95%.
Well, I am still busy with my work and semester. Does battery re-calibration process can be done by end user?
I hope it could, as I wish to settle this issue by myself as this moment I may not able come KL.
Thanks
Dear abcd,
You can try this calibration method:
In Control Panel -> Power Plans -> Create a Power Plan -> Named as "Calibrated" -> Choose "Never" in plug in and battery mode -> Let the battery drained off -> Recharge back.

Speaking of battery, I have noticed a massive deterioration of battery life after 1.5 years of use. I always discharge and recharge my battery regularly. Previously it used to hibernate when battery is low around 7%. Recently, my laptop starts turning off on its own (straight dies, not hibernate) when battery level is at around 30% or more. Now it has gone to a point where even if my battery is showing 95%, the laptop turns off immediately after I switch off my adapter or pull out the power cord.
Just tried shutting down properly at 95% battery and turn on the laptop without power supply, the laptop couldn't start. Only start when I turn on adapter. The battery is like non existent now..
Can we check the system?
