3. the design of Z5 is just too fancy for me to use use it during presentation in research conferences. Possible to change the design to a non-fancy one?

hi is anyone having problems with usb devices i get an error when i plug in any usb device it says "power surge on the usb port" unknown usb device needs more power than the port can supply, i have windows 10 on my laptop(z5 haswell) ....and @prince j i sent u a pm about the battery life of my laptop can you please advice....thanks

Yup, they are running out of name, haha! I am using the nightmare setting, I didn't check the FPS but it is extremely smooth. No playable issue at all.

I had read some comments at Steam discussion. This games is like all new games now which required a lot of VRAM.
If anyone here GPU is 2GB VRAM, it is advisable stop thinking to buy this games as it is nearly unplayable in 2GB GPU.

For nightmare setting, the VRAM requirement is 5GB.

Hi there. My name is Faris Azri Aswandi (from Sarawak though currently studying in UiTM). I guess you can add me up as the owner of the Z7. I just received it today. So far, I am rather disappointed since the laptop seem to have a problem connecting to sites other than google, youtube and facebook. I am supposed to bring it back to Illegear so they can take a look though without transport and free time (close to finals), that might take a while. I will update back later if the problem is fixed. Though the customer service are very responsive to chat which is good.

Any solution from you guys will be appreciated.

The wifi has no problem with it. I am using my Asus right next to my Z7 and my Asus has no problem at all surfing the web. I had you guys install the free 30 days Windows 8.1 on it and that is what I am currently using. Searching online rigorously I found very few solutions. Good thing is, the problem is now resolved. I am not sure why it can't before and why it can suddenly connect to other sites.

Though, I want to ask how do you guys stop the laptop from automatically charging at 95% while plugged in? I am kinda worried about overcharging my Z7 since the battery is so hard to be removed. By the way, is there an audio driver I should download because the audio is very weak. Even my phone is much much louder than my Z7 at full volume.

hi guys. im thinking of buying the z5. but i want to ask some questions. does this laptop has black colour? the silver colour is too birght for me   
btw, i was inform that this laptop only has M.2 Sata SSD. but in the description at illegear website at the SSD option saying that "PCIe M.2 Solid State Drive delivers next-generation SSD performance bla bla...". So which one the is the mobo support? M.2 Sata SSD or M.2 PCIe SSD?
I want to pick the IPS screen but i worry about the screen blooding issue liao. should i get the normal one or IPS?
well i think of using this laptop for my entire life time because this will be my first laptop (using my own money. lol). for heavy usage i think i will be playing games and do some compiling.

Nope, it's not normal. Initially 95% not charging, then 94% not charging. So, I drained it dry and now 89% not charging, after a restart not charging at 90%.    Anyone got insight how to solve this? battery or adapter got problem? not even half a year tho.

*now always stuck at 91%, battery degradation happens so fast? it's like only 5 months of my Z5's lifespan and I mostly use in weekend only.

Anyone else get fps drop after several usage of z5? Ive been using z5 for about 2 months since i bought. And i do realize that the fps drop from early. Ive played dota 2 4-5 times a day. From my obervations, it decreases from 80-120 fps to 50-70 fps. And recently I realize that the game is getting abit lag. Is it problem with the heat or thermal paste? Please help
