A question here, I found that my external hdd connected to left side of USB 3.0 port, it shows D is not accessible, parameter is incorrect.

Therefore, I tried to connect 4 of available ports. In conclusion, I'm pretty sure that this problem occur only when I connected to left side of USB 3.0 port. Other ports are fine, any solution for this problem?

Other devices like mouse, keyboard and phone are connected perfectly.

Only my hdd having parameter incorrect issue when it connected to left side 3.0 port, 2.0 can connect properly.

Hello Z5 users or soon to be users. Happy to say that I might soon going to purchase a Z5 laptop for my first gaming laptop while the CNY promo is still here.

Just wondering about the delivery service, what did you guys chose; the Illegear staff delivery or the GDEX Express delivery service?

If anyone chose the GDEX delivery, is there any problem? Like anything at all? And how's the packaging done? (Need to avoid thief )

Actually, it can be detected but it just shows D parameter is incorrect. However, since it is shared, even I connected to 3.0 port and leaving the 2.0 port empty, it is still the same. But I have no issue regarding 3 of 4 ports.

Btw, is that possible for I to disable bios splash screen during startup? I'm trying to minimise the time of boot up.

Guys, i need some serious help here, i just bought a S7 without OS.
After i installed the win7, i cant install any any drivers due to the laptop cant read any usb or any external hard drive(laptop come wif 4 3.0usb). PLS i really need help on this ! thx !

btw i want to ask all Z5 user here, if we shut down the laptop d but the AC adapter power is still on and connect to Z5, is this will dmg the battery?
since i have a habit is when i click shut down then i go to bed already i didnt wait it totally shut down and close the ac power. My previous laptop i took off the battery so i din have this problem.

Could it be possible to include the beep code manual for Z5? My laptop beeps sometimes and I would like to know what happened.

Is it possible for us to manually change my 2nd drive ? Currently using 1TB SSHD which I think it has something to do with the beeps. I would like to change to 1TB 7200 RPM Hitachi HDD.

Hi prince j, my z5 keyboard suddenly not working when I typing, my mousepad and turn off switch also not working. So I used my mouse to restart my laptop but it stuck at restating very long. How to solve this problem?? Totally can't turn off it T^T.

I have some question.

1. Is it normal that my keyboard backlight for 'o' key to be dimmer than all the keys around it?

2. I couldn't get my touchpad's left and right key to click on the far left/right side. But if click hard enough, it can be registered, and there's a click. And the keys can be see slanting from middle of the touch pad to each far side of the key. Is this normal? As i've never seen a touchpad that required to click inner side of the key. It doesn't make sense operation with one hand at all.

Anyone else have the same problem? I'm having the z5 skylake.

What about macro keys and power button of yours? Does it definitely white? Mine have little dimm color on it, just like yellowish

Btw, I extracted color profile from CD. I followed the instructions to apply it as well. Eventually, the color profile is applied and my screen has transparent "redwish" and it is dark. Does color profile supposed to be this way?

I thought I did some mistakes at first time, so I applied for second time. It is still the same, right now I'm stick to the windows default color profile.

A question need to ask here,when install windows does UEFI and LEGACY indtall method are the same?because my fren help me to change to legacy and i wish to change back UEFI because i prefer see illegear logo than windows logo haha

i think my 7265N network card also having the high ping issue... anyone know how to fix it? Why is it different from the model of network card mention in the invoice? I just updated the driver so now will keep trying out.

about update the bios, i was trying to do so yesterday, but every time i boot into the flashdrive, the keyboard is not functioning, even if i connect external kboard. Am I miss some setting?

i've done the rufus in win10. it can boot into flashdrive. means the bootable usb is working. but cant type anything. so i cant initiate the 'dos.bat' instructions. do i really need to do the rufus in win7/8.1 only?

Guys. I need serious help here. For some reason after I click on the "OneKey_DriverInstaller" and select all to install the stuff. Not sure why I did that. After that my all my USB post didnt detect anything no mouse no pendrive. SOS
