Im facing the same issue. Which wifi card you're using? I'm using 7260ac and it seems to be the card issue itself.

The old router comes with TMNet only allows 2.4GHz band.
I've tried changing the WiFi adapter settings:
802.11n channel width for 2.4ghz : 20 Mhz only
Preferred band : 2.4ghz band
Roaming agressiveness : lowest
Wireless mode: 802.11b/g
I am not sure if that's good.
This ping spikes actually doesn't affect normal video stream, etc.
It affects a lot when you play online MOBA games like Dota 2 and CS:GO. It will spikes and delay every 2 mins or so.
The weird thing is, my friend who are using S5 works good with his 7260ac.
Maybe I'll head down to HQ this coming sem break for exchanging a new 7260ac card and see if the issue persisted.

?? But I able to get stable ping without spikes with my additional bought TP-Link Wireless Adapter WN722N. Could it be the wifi card itself is the problem instead of router? I've no connection issue (D/C, etc.) with 7260-ac. It just that ping spikes during gaming. This is a pain   

if i buy the Warranty with Onsite Pickup and Support, do the issue like this is eligible for that?

second, can i buy the extension of the warranty later (during the period of warranty-like apple care protection plan). or i need to buy it on the spot?

but for me everything is fine including gaming, except the touch pad, i cant scroll using the side region anyumore

PrinceJ I am using Illegear Z5, and upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 few days ago. And the Intel graphic keep crash even I try to reinstall the Windows 10 Intel graphic driver.

Just notice illegear remove a post at it own Facebook page about a user received a Z5 (dunno what model)!

The remove means  it is Skylake??? Now I am bit anger already!

If it is not Z5 Skylake,  no need remove that post!  Yizz!

I hope illegear can think twice if really want to do rush service,  we preorder users shall get it first before the rush is implemented for new buyer! .

All the previous pending customers shall get it first before the rush service is allow in the website for new purchase member, else this is really unfair already as we are not even allow to pick rush during preorder.

Btw.. Imo, they should serve z5 for people whose bought earlier even 1 month early rather than provide rush service for z5 at the moment..
I mean dont get me wrong, for people who bought it like a month ago or so shall get their laptop first rather than some people whose pay extra 50 to get it quickly..

u had same opinion with me it's very unfair if someone do new order and pay rm50 and get it earlier than us 
btw, website has this option but not sure that will work or not~maybe illegear will prioritize old order first and then only for rush service
