banyak problem,
car under warranty sudah berkacau, i cannot imagine after warranty.

wheel bearing broke, airbag sensor issues (never can be fixed), coolant sensor, battery died <1 year, radiator sensor cable broke, moonroof thermal pressure crack (replaced), overheat cannot drive at all, brake line issue, etc

oh service center once crack our front windshield, claimed we broke it. (very dodgy people)

in out service center for weeks - months.
car log book sure look fancy.

other than the nice handling and comfy ride, u get heaps of problems.

3008 user (parents car) fully imported (not CKD) close 2 years.
friends 308 even worse, limp home mode, gearbox broke etc, less than 1 year old.
there are even some people decal their 3008 saying very problematic.

never going peugeot ever again.
If you don't believe me, you can give it a try anyways, its nice to drive.

all my company's Peugeot 407 <4 years have been replaced. all sorts of problems.. from aircond spoilt, boot leaking, transmission jerking, engine stalling, power window spoilt, among the Hondas, Toyotas, Protons... the Peugeots were the most problematic. Management decided to replace all 12 units and never ever going to purchase Peugeot again. the handling and ride is great, stable at high speed but not worth to face the endless problems

Naza already sack 300 staff from assembly plant due to poor sales of Peugeot...this tells you whether the car & brand got problem or not. Most owners will Not buy another Peugeot again. Same with most VW owners...

Problem? Plenty!

I bought mine used (2012 model with full service history) last year (not even a year owning it) and already had to do the following:

1. ABS sensors - 2 sides claimed under warranty.
2. Water temp sensor - claimed under warranty.
3. High pressure fuel pump - can't claim under extended warranty because previous owner exceeded service interval by 4000km. Car was left at the dealer for about a year with regular service. Cost for pump at Naza is RM 2.9K excluding GST. WTF!?!?

I called few friends in the spare parts business and got few quotes ranging from RM 900 to RM 1200 excluding GST and labour.

I decided to try something else. Put injector cleaner into the fuel tank and behold car back in action again. CE light gone and power is back. Will put another bottle tonight.

Just now, CE light came back. WTF!?!? Plug OBD reader and found the following:

P1338, P1340 indicating misfiring for cylinder 2 and 4. Google and found a solution. Replace coil pack. Not sure how much here but in UK, it is GBP 20 each. Since today is a Sunday, I did the following:

1. Unplug coil pack for cylinders 2 and 4 and spray some circuit cleaner (alcohol based).

2. Plug back and behold, no more CE light. Power also back. Will need to test later.

My advice?

Please invest in a good OBD reader and have friends in the spare parts business b4 buying it. If have kaki in the halfcut business even better. More cheap parts.

before CNY 2016, 55k was possible.
Transaction stalled, now worth 50k.
ranting.gif
Now gonna wait before next CNY be4 value drop more.
by year end, loans cleared and warranty still intact, then can trade.

Wish whoever got the car good luck though. innocent.gif
