BTW, rm450 should be deposit, not connection fee.
Connection fee is by developer under "contribution fee" to TNB |

QUOTE(den @ Sep 11 2015, 09:46 PM) yes, that is correct if the fee spell out correctly. connection fee = contribution fee, built ur case from there. again, always refers TNB bahagian projek about ur issue. They will help u accordingly. BTW, RM1000 is odd for deposit, ur house is bungalow or wat? |

QUOTE(den @ Sep 11 2015, 11:43 PM) i think tnb won't involve themselves in arguing who should pay for the connection fee. Yes, it is not, and inform your SPA lawyer to interfere. The clause stated very clearly as long as they get the money... and yes, it's already been paid by the developer, and now claiming it back from buyers. it's a serviced apartment. commercial, single phase = rm1280 (the developer's marketing team and sales agents have been telling the buyers that electrical would be on residential rate, but not sure why they are requesting for a commercial-rate deposit. by right should be around 700. this is another separate argument though.) back to the issue of connection fee, in SPA generally has clearly stated the following: "purchaser shall be liable for and shall pay, within 14 days bla bla bla, the deposits for the installation of water, electricity and gas meters and the Vendor shall bear all other costs, if any" from my understanding, connection fee is not part of the deposits. As i had mentioned, check with TNB bahagian Projek. They are liable to resolve any dispute arise. For example, says developer giving vp but without meter, then u purchaser have to find out with TNB who is at fault, TNB delay or developer still got outstanding issue with TNB. If liable by developer, then u can claim LAD, if delay by TNB, then developer have no liability with u. same case like urs, have to check with TNB. |
