Anyone install side steps for your ASX?
Mind to share the experience? Will it need to do some modification to your car?
I'm planning to install so that my wife easy to enter the car because she is pregnant.

Something like this.

Hi Guys

Noticed my front sensor going haywire. If it senses blocking in front, it will not beep short, but one long beep until i need to restart my engine. the SC told me the sensor needs to be reset using the switch, anybody knows where is the sensor's switch???

you can disable the front sensor. the switch is just at your right, near the light levelling and ASC button. near where you normally slot in the key

dear sifu sifu sekalian, i plan to buy a new car, ASX (or Bezza). Now with 10k discount, cheap ar? 2wd and 4wd a lot of diff in terms of power? thanks!

for city and normal road driving 2 WD is the way to go. but personally for me, when i drive uneven kampung roads, or challenging highways or tarmacs , i turn on the 4wd function. it makes the car more stable and handles better.

Hi guys, I've been looking for SUV with 4WD below 150k and come across Mitsubishi ASX and Subaru XV
I'm Looking for :-
-4WD with slight offroad
-Safe (atleast 5 star)
-economical service
-reliability
-comfort
-fuel consumption

Can you guys shed some light with ASX?

Thanks for your advise
*
i have driven both

If you want raw power, dfficult handling but satisfying torque, go for VX

If you want better handling, slight underpower compared to VX, and smooth oh smooth 4WD, ASX

I am a proud owner or ASX biggrin.gif

Just did my 20k service last month. Cost me RM200+. I asked them not to include all the optional items. If you include all optional items, total bill will be around RM300+ to RM400. Service done at TOS Balakong, total waiting time 1.5 hours. Got free nasi lemak there, but make sure come in the morning. Else, habis already.

Dear ASX Owners,

How would u guys rate your vehicle:
1. Reliability
2. Maintenance cost
3. Fuel consumption
*
1. 9/10 - i like this beast. Only issue that I can think of is the CVT lag.
2. 10/10 -soon to be 1 year old, with no issues what so ever
3. 9/10 - it depends on how you drive actually. The better you drive, the better the consumption.
