ASX has been serving me well thus far except the rear seats, it is really uncomfortable..... any one managed to tweak it a bit in accessories shop or something?

my wife just took delivery of her ASX yesterday and I drove it briefly. Below are my own personal opinion.

Pros:
1) Panoramic Roof (quite amazing to sit at the traffic junction and admire the sky) )
2) Pretty decent sound quality from sound system
3) Head Unit is quite easy to use
4) Front seats are definitely great for a fat arse like me
5) Throttle response feels good, decent power when required (0-40km/h)
6) Cabin is pretty silent
7) Throw in Security Film
8) Pretty Feature packed (half-way through the thick manual)
9) 4WD button 

Cons:
1) EPS Steering is really zero feedback
2) Likely lack of top end power range
3) Door opening and closing feels cheap
4) Lack of power seat
5) Road bump is felt not through steering but your buttock
Conclusion:
Basically can tell it is a decent 100+k crossover which I find my money is well spend. Definitely cannot expect the unreasonable. At least my wife seems happy with her new ride.

Power to Weight ratio will be different. Says 1300 kg for 2wd and 1400kg for 4wd with the same engine. the 4wd system will feel heavier. if you engage the 4wd mode it will be more obvious

Ok, I decided to do a more in-depth driving experience in ASX so been driving my wife around instead over the weekend.

Apparently, I love the sound system and how easy it is configure and try to optimize. Of course cannot expect ICE SQ level. After around 30km of distance covered, I get used to the CVT and steering. Basically the suspension are hard on this car, however pro and cons also, if you are doing city driving, the ride gets a bit uncomfortable when you felt every hump and bumps, given the quality of Malaysia road paving, ride can be harsh. However it becomes like a dream when you are cruising at 100km/h, with cruise set, basically rpm hardly reach 2k and cabin comfort is top notch in my personal opinion.

Pertaining to heat from glass roof, I find the heat wave breaking through the side windows and front windscreen more than the roof, suspect there is some heat reduction coating to the glass roof.
