yours like quite save petrol compare mine. cause stuck in ldp daily and full tank only manage to go 400-420km

my SA say the ASX original Mitsubishi security film was good quality tint, so is recommend dun't remoce it.
btw it still feeling hot and high temperature after parking at open area, so wish to tint again with raytech, btw raytech technician say need to remove the original security film, if not wont provide warranty for 7 yrs.

That's probably the lowest spec ASX 2WD and perhaps after discount & rebates.

Yup, it's a known issue to CKD ASX. It was one of the reason I dint go for ASX either.
It is not a problem that can be solved as I heard. But it happens only when high speed/ sudden acceleration
However, I heard from my SA saying the new version doesn't have that problem anymore.

Did anyone try to re flash the player by using the original Clarion AX1 firmware?

Scroll to the bottom part and navigate to update firmware tab.

Go to “Settings”
Select “System” >> “Software Management”
Select “Factory Data Reset”
After clearing user data update Power Manager, follow these steps:

Insert “microSD card” or plug in “USB” which contains “update.zip” (Power Firmware) file
Go to “Settings”
Select “System” > “Software Management”
Under “Firmware” > Select “Update”
There will be pop up messages.
Accept them
This update will take 10 minutes and will restart the device. Do you want to proceed now?”
**Remarks: Please do not shut down the unit during updating process

To check Firmware and Power Firmware version:

Go to “Settings”
Select “About”
Check on “Build Number” and “Power Firmware” – it should be shown as Firmware v888 and Power Firmware vx.x.

I've just test driven the pre-FL model and found the driving experience to be quite pleasant. However, after about 15 minutes of somewhat spirited driving, I began noticing the so-called burnt rubber smell in the cabin. Has this issue been resolved in the 2015 FL version?

Also, does anyone know if the NVH of the 2015 FL has improved?

Does the 'tweaked transmission' in the 2015 FL actually bring any improvements to the driving experience, especially on pick-up from standstill?

Would very much appreciate the feedback of anyone who's tested both pre-FL and FL. 

Downloaded the update firmware but message show need to send back to factory to update it -___-

I have the engine smell whenever I rev it till around 4K RPM, went back to service center to complain and they mentioned there is leaking from exhaust system to air con system.

Got it fixed and now no more smell, is it probably the same issue as I have?

ASX owners with Clarion AX1 headunits, normally when you turn off your engine, do you long press the knob and choose 'Power Off' for your HU or abruptly turn off the engine? Any impact on this?

Lately, I've noticed that it will take a while for my AX1 unit to start up - when I started the engine, the warning message is being displayed for 3 ~ 4 minutes (NOTE: Although the 'OK' button is there, I can't seem to press on it) followed by the Mitsubishi animated logo and the desktop thereafter. One thing to note here is that my USB drive contains a lot of songs, but could this be a reason for the sudden late startup? Or some hiccups with my headunit?

Now the GPS keeps looking for signal like foreverrrrrr

Feel like screwing them up and down. Would upgrading the firmware ourselves could solve most of the underlying problem? How I wish we could install Waze in that player.
