So basically, even with the most basic data plan, you're still looking at something in the MYR$250/month zone for an iPhone 6s? But you can exchange for a new iPhone in 12 months time while continuing the same payment structure after that, or will they add some extra bullshit costs?

i've been doing the upgrade streak on launch day since the original iPhone.
was very close on ending the streak with this release but somehow did not let that happen.
financially it is not easy to do this, but the sale of the previous gen phones during new launch helps fuel the funding.
i pitty samsung or android users tho. buy phones on launch day at 3k, in a month loose 1k value, over a year loose more than half value. wonder how they fuel their upgrade each year.

This is generally true. But I have a suspicion it's more of a Samsung problem than an Android one...

these are all very minimal incremental upgrades. nothing revolutionary like the iPhone 4. but many are still drinking the Apple Kool aid. I'm sticking with my i6plus.

Don't u guys realize yet that benchmark and specs means nuts? Even if Samsung has 4gb ram, still lag behind iOS.

One thing about Android that will never catch up with iOS is how the notifications are delivered.
You'll realize that the iPhone only have 1000+mAH of power and some Androids have 3000+mAH of power but doesn't last three times as long as the iPhone when used after a period of time.
One of the reasons is because of the Push Notifications in iPhone. I think it's one of the greatest feature in iOS that are rarely mentioned.
When you run an Android, all the apps like Whatsapp, Wechat, Fb all have to stay in the background and prepare to receive notification and if one app isn't done properly by the developer it's gonna drain lots of power and your phone gonna die. This explains why Android when you install more apps the battery dies faster.
But in iOS. What happens is.. All apps are shut down in the background.. and when you receive a Whatsapp message, fb notification or wechat, the servers have to send to Apple server then "Pushed" to your iPhone. Hence only the Apple push notification have to stay awake and other apps can be turned off completely and save a great load of battery life..

How android counter this? Add battery capacity each year. That's not cool. haha
