QUOTE(G-17 @ Sep 11 2015, 10:23 PM) So basically, even with the most basic data plan, you're still looking at something in the MYR$250/month zone for an iPhone 6s? But you can exchange for a new iPhone in 12 months time while continuing the same payment structure after that, or will they add some extra bullshit costs? nope you will continue the plan that you choose and exchange with another phone after 12 months without extra cost. |

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Sep 13 2015, 08:45 PM) i've been doing the upgrade streak on launch day since the original iPhone. Don't need to pity the Samsung/android user because that's their choice and money. If they can afford to upgrade every year means they have more money than ios user lol was very close on ending the streak with this release but somehow did not let that happen. financially it is not easy to do this, but the sale of the previous gen phones during new launch helps fuel the funding. i pitty samsung or android users tho. buy phones on launch day at 3k, in a month loose 1k value, over a year loose more than half value. wonder how they fuel their upgrade each year. |

QUOTE(attw @ Sep 14 2015, 03:57 PM) This is generally true. But I have a suspicion it's more of a Samsung problem than an Android one... I think its also the way people market it and sell..those second hand are the people who command the price. Its either they want to sell it fast so they need to low the price. Coz if you going to buy in the shop, the price still the same or drop a little bit until the new model come out. This post has been edited by 1likegadg3t: Sep 14 2015, 04:04 PM |

QUOTE(deepan84 @ Sep 14 2015, 04:01 PM) these are all very minimal incremental upgrades. nothing revolutionary like the iPhone 4. but many are still drinking the Apple Kool aid. I'm sticking with my i6plus. me too Im still sticking with i6plus..until iphone 7+ come out. Im always a impulse buyer but I realize at the end of the day i only use for checking social, messaging apps and casual game.nope. Only for 6S Plus. refer to Apple website. |

QUOTE(666devil @ Sep 25 2015, 08:30 PM) Don't u guys realize yet that benchmark and specs means nuts? Even if Samsung has 4gb ram, still lag behind iOS. Because android and ios are not same. Android are full of multitasking feature compared to ios. Try to put those multitasking feature to iPhone with 2gb ram for sure will lag. |

QUOTE(kokhoong0624 @ Sep 26 2015, 12:22 AM) One thing about Android that will never catch up with iOS is how the notifications are delivered. Where did you get that info any link or u are one of the developer. Or just your assumption BTW I'm using both of the os and there's is no difference when I received my notification. If u talking about the battery of the iPhone I use almost all the models of the iPhone and their battery is worse than I thought only the 6 plus I can get through more than a day. You'll realize that the iPhone only have 1000+mAH of power and some Androids have 3000+mAH of power but doesn't last three times as long as the iPhone when used after a period of time. One of the reasons is because of the Push Notifications in iPhone. I think it's one of the greatest feature in iOS that are rarely mentioned. When you run an Android, all the apps like Whatsapp, Wechat, Fb all have to stay in the background and prepare to receive notification and if one app isn't done properly by the developer it's gonna drain lots of power and your phone gonna die. This explains why Android when you install more apps the battery dies faster. But in iOS. What happens is.. All apps are shut down in the background.. and when you receive a Whatsapp message, fb notification or wechat, the servers have to send to Apple server then "Pushed" to your iPhone. Hence only the Apple push notification have to stay awake and other apps can be turned off completely and save a great load of battery life.. How android counter this? Add battery capacity each year. That's not cool. haha Just my two cents. No offense. Like I said ios is very different from Android. Multitasking, screen resolution etc. need more power.
