I believe you do not have the data but Apple is a company that spends very little money in marketing compared to the rest. Apple spends around $1.1B compared to Samsung approximately $14B. Apple is a brand/product that sells by itself and there's no need to even bother advertising.
If you drill down to Malaysian market for example, Apple has very limited adverts (compared to Samsung) and a lot of times it's the telco that advertises it. Apple's secret to success is to make people love the brand. When that happens, people will buy your products irregardless because they love it. Apple is very good at making extremely good margin out of their products and Apple earns a lot more for each iPhone sold compared to Samsung. This can also be seen based on their revenue (AAPL).
Note that I am taking Samsung as a comparison because at present time, they are still the no. 1 competitor to Apple.

Samsung even need lots of celebs to promote their product but at the end of the day, those celebs still pick up their iphone and use it.
