Looks like most of the people recommend upgrading.
I'm still on the fence. 4K videos and 3D touch looked tempting. But I'll still hold on and see. Already reserved 1 unit through my carrier, and I'll be at Apple Store first thing Friday morning to try out whether it's worth upgrading or not. Then I'll sell my iPhone 6 first before getting my 6S. Anyway there's a unit waiting for me so it'll be fine.
Will get the first page updated ASAP. Peace yo!

Any U.S. forwarders you guys can recommend? Might ship a few iPhones back home while avoiding the stupid 8.75% tax here.

How does hopshopgo works? And is it expensive? What about customs and stuff? Prefer door-to-door and no hassle at all.

Checked out iPhone 6s at Apple Store today. Don't like the 3D touch but quite cool tho, rose gold not so nice actually, and um... 4k video? 4k is the future but not the present. Camera can see a bit of improvement over iPhone 6. Overall nothing much for me.

QUOTE(androidpolis @ Sep 27 2015, 12:45 PM) Not true. It may be somewhat true 10 years ago when most ppl use feature phones. Now it's also cheaper to buy smartphone especially android stuff. depends on people also. if cheapskate want buy cheap phone, then have to deal with shitty specs and i wish them good luck.

QUOTE(chicaman @ Sep 27 2015, 11:54 AM) I think due to the poor currency and increase in price of iPhone 6S Plus thats why the demand is not so great Last time I used to think MYR3K+- is affordable. Nowadays, a decent storage version cost around MYR4K+ which is expensive IMHO nah the world demand also not that good. last time used to see queue up days before launch. plus, next 4-6 weeks very hard to get iphone unless very lucky. now? i can simply walk in and get one.

If you guys think Lazada's price is ridiculous, try eBay. Good thing is, because so many stock, why should I buy from them?

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 29 2015, 08:00 AM) I agreen to that. Apple did the right thing this time by sending out the phone during thr first day of launch to buyers who purchased online through its website through preorder. This actually destroyed a lot of demand from buying from scalpers. Im not "butthurt" of others making a living but when these syndicates and even end users queue up to buy all the available stocks so that they can hoarde and resell the phones at crazily high profits, that where its getting annoying. I hope this round of earlier launch teaches all scalpers a lesson in not hoarding future iphone stocks. I thought they do that all the time?

QUOTE(bqio @ Sep 29 2015, 08:51 AM) Guys, with the GST on. Our price and Singapore different is going to be minimum. If you buy from Changi Airport, you are even Cheaper as you do not need to pay GST. So, people who want the phone, may just buy at Singapore. Maxis Zero Solution is basically you pay the phone in installment, which they do not subsidize. But I got no doubt a lot of people will go for this plan. (Well, Maxis basically using Apple US plan) hope you guy enjoy the phone. the shittiest problem i have is I will be transiting at Changi before back to KL... Arriving at Changi at 1am, then 6am flight back to KL. the shop in Changi airport does not charge GST and it's rather cheap... but it closes at 1am and opens at 6am. yeah. fark me right.

QUOTE(Boykidz93 @ Sep 30 2015, 02:09 AM) This thread seem too quite compare to previous generation hahahaha a lot people don't see the need to upgrade. the 6 thread would've been at v2 by now. v4 when its finally launched in msia.

QUOTE(wen9x88 @ Sep 29 2015, 10:38 PM) I tried it before. It looks cool but it'll only fit phones with the small glass screen protector which doesnt cover the side. my SP covers the side and once i force the case in, the SP suddenly pops out. then i decided to put on a glass-m SP with rubber on side and get a $2 case from ebay that does not damage my new SP.

Can anyone suggest any place that'll guide my parents on setting up the phone... both will be jumping ship from and android and need all data to be transferred. As I won't be back in msia till end of the year, I need someone to help them set up iCloud backup and stuff as well as transfer all data and teach them how to use. Machines staff will be kind enough since they're going to buy from there?

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 30 2015, 03:42 PM) Im pretty sure if it can be submerged in shallow waters up to 1 hour means it would be splash proof. Anybody wanna try with the 6s/ 6s +??? Took my 6 for a swim and used it in the rain before. Nothing happened. Kinda forgot that I didn't do liquipel this time round

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 1 2015, 12:32 AM) I heard from a friend that liquipel has very poor customer service at their Ss15 Subang Jaya branch. He complained that he was given the runnaround and staffs there were lazy to service him. I went to the one at Glenmarie. Well, it used to. Malaysian customer service mah. What to expect.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 1 2015, 12:45 AM) Does this liquipel works? What form does it come in? Something like the liquid contractors spray on walls to keep water out? dunno lol. my 5 got do but my 6 nope. i don't see much difference. they basically claim that the internal stuff will be coated with a coating which does not allow contact of water. so basically after kena water just put the phone standing in a cup for 1 night and it'll be ok.
