Why should Apple do so? People still buy their products even if they have to sell their kidneys. Remember, Apple can do no wrong!  tongue.gif

Lol someone butthurt go report this post. Still, got demand got supply.

Thats great info. Maybe winkiedilwy can post this up on the first page so that people need not ask this question over and over again.

Will do, but since Malaysia launching so fast I don't see the reason to buy US set.

By the way, AT&T will still be locked set even if bought outright, but AT&T makes it a lot easier to unlock it now.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you think that will it work on others like Switch?

Honestly, I am not really sure if it will work out with Switch, but based on my experience, it worked out with Machines KLCC.
i think its better for you to ask Switch first if you want to claim it there.

One reason would be price. Let's take the most common model - 64GB iPhone 6
Currently, USD749 = MYR3260. If it's as everyone expected to be around MYR3500 when released in Malaysia, then you stand to save 200+ MYR, or more. Probably not worth it if you go through a mail order company and have to pay delivery (plus risk of GST when entering Malaysia), but if you know someone coming back from the US then go ahead. The downside is that you lose local warranty.

Looking good, have that Steampunk-ish look to it. You lose the curved side of the iPhone though, or maybe that's a good thing since curved sides were complained as hard to grip?

I myself is in the US now, but I don't see the reason to get US set. 9% non-refundable tax and unless you get it at a tax-free state.

I rest my case study on butthurt ifags. tongue.gif

You will be surprised. Under this thread you have 3 very repeatedly asked questions over and over again.  shakehead.gif

1) If I buy an overseas set, will it be unlocked?

2) Does iphones have international warranty?

3) Should I get 16gb or 64gb?

Maybe you can create a faq on page 1 to answer all these questions? rolleyes.gif
*
1) it kinda depends on country tho. So far i only know US and Singapore set is fully unlocked. Need more info regarding other countries. UK still got locked set.

Teeheehee, Flossy Carter. That guys is a character of his own alright, he change cases like changing shirts, not to mention swap phones between platforms too. He can be a little weird too, one time he like "busy looking" cases like these, and the next, he goes minimal, like this preference for Gear S2 Sports instead of the S2 Classic.

My only fear with cases like these are reception quality, although they're not fully Faraday-caging the entire perimeter of the phone in the case of their iPhone cases.

Ah yeah, forgot about the sales tax. My cousin usually gets her in-laws in Dover, Delaware (tax free and money laundering capital of the US - Jib probably got bank account there also) to buy stuff for bringing back, that's why I forgot about the tax.

No no no no no, dont get me wrong, I echo some of Flossy's sentiments. I get the same comments too when I wear some of the more "fancier" accessories on my electronics. You got a good eye for design, and interlocking two-tone cases like these does turn heads and like he said, what's important is what you like, not what others think about it. Sometimes it's great to stand out, and not drown in the sea of Spigens and Rocks and Baseus cases. tongue.gif

as for 1), i heard a saying:
QUOTE
if you don't know whether you want the 6s or 6s+, get the 6s.

because people picking the 6s+ usually have good reason to do so already. like maybe their hands are big, or they like to take more low-light photos (better with 6s+ OIS), or they just want the bigger battery, or they want people to know they got the more expensive model, etc. etc.

for 2), i recommend watching apple's 6s/+ commercial. "The only thing that's changed is everything." IMO it does a nice job summarising all the new stuff in a way friendly to non-techies (who are the only people asking this question). plus got selena gomez lol.

Is it confirmed?
Haih so sad. Among all phones only Apple price adjusted for falling Ringgit.
I see Samsung Note 5 sold in garage sale about RM23XX - RM24XX.
Last time Samsung new note price equivalent to iPhone 6 64GB (before all the price increase).
Now, price diff almost RM1.3k.
Y other phone manufacturers can maintain price but not apple?  cry.gif

LOL

This is the weakness of Apple fans. Die die keep wanting to buy. How not to exploit this weakness??? laugh.gif
