Hi ladies and gentlemen, soo i played around with steam-engine.org and i got confused with the concept with VV/VW. I set the heat flux to 40W(as my mod max only 40W) and played around with the target resistance. I realize the higher the resistance the higher the power needed to get a warm vape and low resistance need less power. But ppl nowdays vape sub ohm which is lower than .5ohms and firing at 100w-200w. how can this be? wont the vape be too hot and burn?

not master enough in this. but those 0.05ohms firing at 100w-200w are dripper which doesnt have atomizer.

i builded a dual coil 0.2ohms on my dripper and firing at 40W and i still got a pretty decent vape. how did they build 0.05ohms and firing at 100w-200w? wont it taste be hangit or to hot?

The secret is the heat flux & heat capacity. Heat flux is how hot is the coil will generate. Heat capacity is how fast the coil heat up to reach the heat flux.
Dripper and tank are totally deferent thing.
Tank, has limitation due to air hole and juice hole.
Dripper only limit to your wicking material.

I use my tank as a benchmark. For example, on a kayfun, my typical build is 28g, 1.5ohm, 2.5mm, 11w, my heat flux is 158 and my heat capacity is 22. So when I build a dual coil or a lower resistance coil, I make sure my mod match the heat flux & capacity. The heat flux must can go above 158 and heat capacity must not more then 40.
If the heat flux is lower then 158 then I get a cool vape and less flavour.
The the heat capacity is more then 22 then I need to press longer the fire button the get the flovour heat that I want. The longer you press the fire button, then more the battery power is wasted.

Nubis mah foot! Anyway cotton as normal, too much slows the wicking. The important thing is not to stuff too much cotton into the juice channel. Cotton expands when wet, so too much cotton into the juice channel will choke it. Just a tiny bit at the top of the juice channel will do.
