Causes:

- low profiency in English (govt not willing especially in schools and higher public learning institutions
- attitude (unprofessional, lack courtesy, no interest etc)
- too choosy (being brought up in an age where struggle is hardly experience especially middle-class and above KLians)
- bumiputera policies
- racist job advertisements --> not willing to hire people other from their race
- anything else?


Effects:

- loss of output to the economy
- bad image for country
- social ills
- anything else?



Solutions:

- enforce all subjects to be taught in English (except BM of course)
- abolish bumiputera policies
- ensure no racism in job classifieds in the media
- anything else?



Anyways, this thread can be helpful for those in universities/college students on reports etc if it's on this topic.
