i just want to ask,i sell an item RM10 ,than plus postage RM5 , so total is RM15...

than when buyer received,he found faulty ,so how much i should refund he?....

If the postage fee was bear by you , RM10 then.

If he/she posts back u the item, u should give back rm 10

before this i bought an not-working ram from a forumer, then i ask for refund lo... hurm.. she is kind enuf to refund RM40+RM5 to me... up to u lo....

If The Item Is RM 10 , Shipping Fee RM 5 Is U Pay , Then U refund RM 10 For Buyer Or Shipping Fee Is Buyer Pay , Then U Also refund RM 10 For Buyer .

POSTAGE PAID BY BUYER

Obviously some ppl dont read before posting...

The usual refund would be RM15
That way, you paid for the shipping to him, he pays for the shipping back to you

Same with me.. that's the basic rules

The RM5 lost is for the shipping that was born by the buyer, since he agreed to pay for the shipping
Or a better solution would be to split the cost and refund RM12.50, but i guess that's up to your goodwill

Obviously they opted for shipping in the first place cause they werent able to meet up

Yup ! Agree ! Coz Also Same Lo, U Pay Shipping Fee For Buyer, After Buyer Refund The Item To U ,Also Need Pay Back Shipping Fee , So Can Take Back The Item Money Only !

Last time I shipped MMC to buyer, RM35 include postage. Buyer received it as faulty coz somehow it's broken when it reached him. I ask him to take pic, he took pic and showed me. So I told him to keep the corpse and I refund him RM30. (RM5 is postage ma).

OK, i'm the buyer in question. Since many of you is confused, i should give a short story of what happen.

- The item was sold for RM15 (RM10 for the product, RM5 for postage)
- Postage was paid by the buyer
- Item received in a faulty state (physical defect on the product)
- However the product is delivered in a box therefore the damage to the product didn't occur during postage and handling
- The product is clearly defective before it was send by the seller
- This whole situation wouldn't have happen if the seller has conducted basic checks on his product beforehand.
- Since it's fully the seller's fault (due to carelessness, ignorance, or oversight) i feel the buyer shouldn't be penalise by a partial refund.
- As such a full refund should be in order (RM15)


* If the buyer wanted the product back, he should have refunded RM15 plus another RM5 for postage back to him. Since he doesn't want it back, this isn't an issue.

** On a personal note, i have no beef with the seller and the seller is responsible enough to offer a quick refund. I shall accept the majority decision but please consider my points first.

Yup, postage paid by buyer. That's why instead of refunding RM35, I refund RM30 only.
