Hi Forumers,

Kindly ask for suggestion for adding fans for my newly bought CM690 III Green Chasis, my intention was to build a green theme lighting rig.
But there's this Airflow category where there's Normal and Static Pressure type which i'm confuse about which fan i should install and how the air flow will go.

I also want to not that I haven't bought any air cooler for my processor yet as I'm planning to use the Intel stock cooler. (don't want to spend too much yet plus i dont do any overclocking)

I'm currently looking at CORSAIR AIR SERIES SP140 12CM LED CASING FAN & COOLER MASTER SICKLE FLOW X 12CM CASING FAN (Both Green)

Any opinion/suggestion are welcome smile.gif

I won't really bother on pressure, more on air flow.
This casing can install 2 20 cm fan for extra flow. Moire important, it is a quiet fan.
Then you can install green LED strips to suit your taste.

Since we have similar case, this is what I would do:
-keep the 20cm at the front of the case
-put a pair of 140mm fans on top. If it can be mounted with 120mm fan holes then I put 2 on top, one at the back. I prefer prolimatech usv 14 for this setup.
-one fdb or ball bearing fan at the bottom

all of those fans must be in black

lastly get those green led strips

as for the fans ur listed, I would get the sickle flow x over the SP LEDs due to the corsairs LED used sleeve bearings, not advisable to put on top of casings.

haha, I've already build up my rig 2 days ago. This is how it all looks;
P.S. I added 2 Bitfenix LED Fan on top and one LED strip at the bottom

nice one! thumbup.gif

I assume u put 120mm bitfenix on top. Do you have any trouble mounting it on top using metal screws? I got trouble mounting my turbinemaster with rubber screws. Must be the diameter is too short.

Actually, I mounted 2 Bitfenix 140mm on top instead. No trouble mounting, just need to screw harder brows.gif

maybe if it isn't too much for you, maybe you could post a pic of those fans mounted on top of the case with the cover open. Just want to see how it look like lol.
