trading in to game shops really suck. the price they give is rubbish. if u are thinking of upgrading try selling ur unit here in the forum first. but with the Lite's price so low now its pretty hard to get a good price for an old DS

better keep it^_^. or u can sell it.not sure how much u can get maybe around 250, maybe more if u got extra accessories.. i think if u can sell it for rm 250, u can add rm 100+ and buy new ndslite.

It's best to sell here.. Many people are on the look-out for cheap console/handhelds these days.. Especially if the games come cheap with it too..

Planning to sell mine too.. So.. do the same as me.. To the GARAGE SALE!

Why ppl dont want the NDS? What is the difference between NDS and NDS lite? Does it mean the NDS is useless?

Nope. The DS Lite is just a smaller, brighter version of the original DS. It plays ALL the same games, does ALL the same things. Now the advantage is obvious (in terms of size and screen clarity) and you also get extended battery life from the Lite.

Having said that, if the TS wants to sell his old DS, do so on this forum! Bear in mind you won't get too much for it unless you include a game or two (even then don't expect too much).

Otherwise, keep it! You can still use it to try homebrew when you have your new DS Lite!

Some games (like New Super Mario Bros, Big Brain Academy, Clubhouse Games, Mario Kart, Metroid Prime Hunters) also have a single cart mode that allows you to go head to head with a friend!

As for homebrew, there's a ton of things you can do these days - so if you have an old DS lying around and you aren't afraid, go check it out. EVEN if you don't use it for homebrew, the next time someone wants to test out the DS, whip out both and try multiplayer!

(psst, if want some used NDS games click on my siggy)
