QUOTE(Mr.7 @ May 20 2016, 03:26 PM) Click on the Setting icon. Then click on General. click on Storage & iCloud usage.Under Manage Storage. Click on it and wait till the list is fully populated. Depending on how many apps you have this can take a couple of seconds to about half a minute. Look through this list till you see the new iOS update. Delete it. Before you copy and paste from Google what you are searching for, please do read other comments too. Then go into the App & iTunes Stores settings and disable the automatic downloads for Updates. QUOTE I Just want to remind you and anyone else that stumbles into this thread: this is only a TEMPORARY FIX. Your device will always download a new update when plugged in and connected to wifi, so you will repeatedly have to delete the update to avoid this annoying notification. Or always put your device into airplane mode when charging. Not ideal, but that's the best workaround short of blocking the update server from your router. Disable the automatic downloads for Updates WON'T STOP iOS update reminder. It just stop your App Store from automatic updates for APPS. |

QUOTE(Mr.7 @ May 20 2016, 09:13 PM) Well, that's what I do. Ios doesnt prompt me to install updates unless I download myself manually. If icecreamcake DID try and it works, then no harm right? Dey it won't work. I already quote the comment but here let me bold it for ya. Your device will always download a new update when plugged in and connected to wifi, so you will repeatedly have to delete the update to avoid this annoying notification. Or always put your device into airplane mode when charging. Not ideal, but that's the best workaround short of blocking the update server from your router. So don't just copy and paste without reading all the comments before you THINK it works, okay? |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Jun 10 2016, 05:54 PM) Hi, The only under 2K price for iphone 6S / 6S+ are demo set but no sane man selling their demo phone under 2K though. Cheapest I can find the demo set people sell at RM2300 nego in mudah. Looks like someone got it less than 1 day.I am thinking of upgrading to 6 or 6s. I saw on mudah a lot of phones selling for under 2k. They call it import set but not China set. And it comes with 1 year warranty. Can these shops be trusted? How can the phones be so cheap and yet comes with a warranty? Anyone bought an import set before? |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Jun 11 2016, 02:33 PM) Thanks for your reply. I wasn't in touch with the current prices so I thought of checking in on Mudah to check the current prices as the ones on garage sales are mostly used phones. So then I checked at Switch at prices are at least 3k. So how come these import sets are so cheap? They said it's not clone or China set and they even offer 1 year warranty. Early this month there was a warehouse sale that sell iphone 6S 16GB for RM1599 and 6S Plus 16GB for RM1849. It's a demo set which come with fullset without earpiece but with warranty.Oh well, I guess I'll stick to my 5s and hope the price for 6s will drop when iPhone 7 or whichever new model comes out in September. A really good bargain, once a year there will be a warehouse sale from Machines. And some people sold it in Mudah for a quick bucks, that's what I saw people selling it the demo set for RM2300+ negotiable. It sold for less than 1 day advertised. Perhaps few hours only as most people don't know there is a warehouse sale sold for RM1599. Or maybe they know but don't have time to go. For demo set iphone 6 16GB, the price was RM1349. Just for your info, remember the iphone 6/6+ are bendable, right? But for iphone 6S/6S+ are more sturdy then the previous gen. The only downside with the current gen, the color is easier to peel off ! I always take care of my phone, lately when I tried to clean up the dust that built up around the corner and gap between case and phone, I noticed there are some discoloring at the screw, speaker and charging port parts ! Will become very bad if you put a sticker on it and peel it off later. Or even worse if you use metal bumper. When it's discoloring, it will shows the silver-metal color under the phone color. |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Jun 13 2016, 01:29 PM) Thanks for the information. Damn. I am just a few days too late. Sigh. I didn't expect Machines to have a warehouse sale. Some warranty until Oct/2016, but some still have until Apr/2017. Well i checked how many it's been charged, still under 100 though which is good. I dont mind the battery will spoil later coz if i changed it myself after warranty, it still cheaper than 2nd hand set. The home button still hard and sturdy. The one i checked at umobile demo set, it's already loose, pressed not nice. But I don't think demo sets would be good. Thousands of people touch it and it's always ON and charging. So it can't be good. A used set would be better than a "pimped" phone lol |

There were worse and there were good condition. You can choose until you satisfied with the set. First they show me with no earpiece and no plug. I refused, asked to change another one. After checking few scratches on the body while none in screen, no dent, I chose it. All buttons still firm and great, no dead pixel, no bleeding, just like 2nd hand phone. Just a bit ugly body and that's it. The body can easily change from Space Grey to Pure Black, which more beautiful. Will wait till expired though.
The one I don't dare to buy is demo set but no warranty. This could be ugly and battery condition must be worse since it's almost 2 years demo. |

QUOTE(Micky78 @ Jun 21 2016, 10:45 PM) my existing plan going to expired and i plan to take iPhone and sell off the device ... Mostly people prefer 64GB. 128GB is the hardest to sell, but of course easier if the price is right.want to ask... what is the most popular model of iPhone now... so that i can easily sell it off? any suggestions which is model (normal or Plus) and how many GB device should i take... For both normal & plus. I don't have any problems sell mine previously. |

QUOTE(oldlady94 @ Jun 22 2016, 08:21 PM) do you know why my cable couldnt charge my phone when my battery was drained out ? but can be charged when my phone is one. Same with other iphone. Could it be fake cable ? Gotta let it charge for awhile, like 5-10 minutes. If still not charging, either cable or adapter problem. |
