Updated with the lates updates?

Have you tried changing the settings at 'Display Accommodations'? There are filters there that user can calibrate. It is under Settings>Accessibility>Display Accomodations.

If still have dark corners as you have posted, possibility that the pixels are having issues. A trip to the sc would be advisable.

Do report back on the outcome ya. And hope you get to resolve your issues.

MY wife's unit did a similar issue. So i tried the following.

1. Do the release ram. press power btn until slider appears and let go. Press home btn and hold until home screen appears. Co change.

2. Do the hard reset, pressing the power + home button and hold until the apple logo reappears. also no change.

3. Reinstall as new phone throught iTunes. And did a backup with iCloud. Worked flawlessly since then

What I realised was that I had 2 free apps which was on my wife's hp. It was the Battery Doctor and Opera which I no longer use in any of the other iphones that i have. I have read somewhere that some 3rd party app can creep in to yur system through the app. As for opera simply because it uses a seperate vpn to connect.

You can try with process of elimination. Try multiple chargers cables combination.

Sometime electronic gadget can get gila2 one. Ok. Make sure that the charging port is clear of debris like lint etc that can get stuck in there. As you know the contacts are very fine and close together. 1 small lint can make it haywire. If already confirm that the charger and cable you have tried on other iphone works and not yours then try the reset with the home button+power button and hold for 10-15 sec and only let go after the apple logo appears. If still issue still persist. Do a backup of your phone to iTunes. Then reformat and restore it using itunes and the backup. See whether it still persists. All the best.

Morning, the firware was upgraded late last night, and I did't have the chance to test it myself. I'll ask her later. BTW on SE and 5S no issues whatsoever. According to my sons, probably there is a slight lag but not so noticeable and he welcomes the new interface. I'll report back in a while for the 6+
