Guys, son's ip6, 2 yrs old, no internet connection 3g or whatever, but can connect via wifi

Phone restart itself lately, battery can drop from 70% to 10% in less than 30 mins.

What could be the problem with no internet connection? Have not tried factory reset

He's on umobile

anyone already sent the phone batt for replacement? at rm129 is a steal, even cheaper than chiplak 3rd party batt outside. plan to do it but east msia apple service centre is scarce..

This should drive down the price of 3rd battery replacement

Possibly in the Klang valley where competition is stiff, but in remote areas where there are no authorized Apple service centers offering the RM129 battery replacement, those third party fellas won't budge on their prices.

That's agreeable

not sure how much lower can oem's go.... usually RM 100-150 when AASP charges 400+.... unless they go RM30 now lol
*
Should be at least 50% lower I supposed

I suspect iOS 11 isn't being kind to ip6... i changed the batt on my ip6 (3rd party) twice already and the capacity shows 100%, yet the battery drains from 100% to 0% in just 3-4 hours... sad.gif

Mine is still OK.. 3rs party battery changed in September last year

Of late battery has been draining like mad. The top few has been disable background refresh yet it's still draining...

What else should I do?
