Guys can I copy my whatsapp photos directly to my pc? I want to clear chat but don't want to lose all my photos from my school groups etc

My 6+ has been lagging since I updated to 9.2.1. Just installed the updated 9.2.1. Not sure if it'll help, but hopefully..
