How come most Windows 10 users are still using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari?

Heck, some are still even sticking to Internet Explorer.

It feels just empty, MS Edge. I have used it and it seems there is nothing...

in the case of desktop/laptop computers, it's more productive if we use a full web browser than a simple one (with keyboard and mouse).

maybe it's different when you use a tablet or phone.

I think what makes ppl not using edge at the moment is not because of its performance but rather the lack of features puts people off.

Still using IE/Edge sometimes, when the main browser fail to load the important website without any good reason (Chrome/FFx), or don't want to waste my 4G quota(Chrome will restore previous browsing session, all tabs, it's annoying sometimes).

You can change this behaviour in Chrome 'Settings'.

It's not bad at all actually, it's just like some people said, it's lack of features compared to others like Chrome or Firefox.
I actually used Edge for the first few days I fresh installed Win10, I switched to Chrome mainly because all my bookmarks are synced over there.

Please note:
The full version or full function of EDGE is not fully utilize yet. Now giving the reviews is too early. Please wait and in future it will make use the EDGE to use ChromeOS apps. Wait for the service pack and you will see the EDGE is differences.

Those listed aren't the only browser on this planet.
For much more power user I will stick to something else, but that doesn't mean my option is bloated with apps and plugins like those you mentioned. biggrin.gif

Although I still keep Opera for the sake of browsing blocked sites by just using the turbo function as proxy... whistling.gif
I could setup proxy on my main browser but... I just lazy to navigate to the menu to on/off it. Click the Opera icon on taskbar is way faster.

Edge is too simple for now. Just one biggest problem, for me at least, is the lack of data sync across multiple devices, or just use the cloud sync feature as backup.
I think that should be a planned function for later update. But even if it does have the function later, it still a problem because... Edge won't available on Android / iOS platform as far as I know.
Tough, I seriously don't like their start page design, I don't need news and computer to help me organize my links. And extra ONCE-click to access the "usual stuff" is annoying.
Just one click may not sounds significant for some, but if you sit in front of your PC whole day long... You just want to get your task done the quickest way possible instead of bad UI design that makes you taking a longer route.

I know, but most of the time i'm on unlimited 3G. I usually close all the tab before they can start loading page lol sweat.gif

FFx and Opera has delayed loading when restoring all tabs, the rest of the tab wont load until user click it.
Chrome is fast but it's a ram hogger, resource heavy, FFx is sluggish, Opera is just chrome with different skin + less add on.

I usually IE/Edge when on remote computer, it's actually faster than Chrome/FFx.

Actually I didn't try using Edge at all.

The first thing I found out was that it has no add-ons or extensions like Adblock Plus and Avira Browser Safety.

I just use back my trusty Chrome after the upgrade. smile.gif

Microsoft is using a new tactic to keep Windows 10 users from switching away from its Edge browser.

The first time Edge users search for “chrome” or “firefox” using Bing — presumably with the intent of
downloading those browsers from Google or Mozilla, respectively — they are shown a serious-looking
message at the top of the search results.

The engine is excellent.

But too bad those retards at MS built it in nonsense universal app crap.
Its slow, its unresponsive, badly designed, awkward UX and doesn't interact well with the rest of system.
