recently bought Steelseries Kinzu v3 and Steelseries QcK+ mousepad to get better at yeah.. aiming.
But after a few weeks I realized that this gaming mouse doesn't feel any difference than normal mouse at all! In fact, I like the the old mouse more because of the grip and even the mousepad is not as smooth as my Ikea table!
I set up my Kinzu to 2000cpi and 1000hz, my old mouse was at default 1000cpi and 500hz. I wondered how does high CPI matters when pro player use only 400cpi.
Is gaming mouse really necessary?

lower cpi/dpi makes your aim to be more dependent on your muscle memory which is more consistent.
If you're playing cs for the long run, and has the XXL qck mousepad, try switching to low dpi.

Is gaming mouse really necessary? the issue is not so much on the mouse rather than the dpi... try setting ur dpi lower... its easier to be more accurate at a lower dpi... then ur crosshairs dont move as much as the sensitivity is lowered... FPS games it is always better to have a low sensitivity.... i play CSGO at 800-1000 dpi only.... the nice thing about gaming mouse is the DPI is customizable...

actually, due to habit and motor memory, a new mouse will need a "run-in" period until you get used to it. once you used a quality mouse, you can usually never go back to cheap normal mice. Personal opinion.
