CD/DVD Burning Problems about burning...

I use nero + splitter to burn .avi as VCD...
But it takes me about 4 hour...
Anyway that can make it fast?

I think the ram u have will affect its speed...not sure about this though
also try freeing up some hard disk space...worked for me anyway

It will be faster if you use a dual core processor, with 1GB of ram and 7200 HDD with at least 8mb buffer. That shall do the trick. icon_rolleyes.gif

Dude ITS NORMAL...
Becoz NERO need to CONVERT the AVI into MPEG then only it burn into VCD....
It requires 2-4hours just for converting and around 20minutes to burn..

Use some other Video Editing/converter software like tmpgenc, or something like that to convert it to mpeg 1st then use Nero burn, is relatively the same.

Im using tmpgenc 2.5 to convert avi to kvcd
1 movie (1.5 hrs) took about 1hr 2o minutes
plus audio convertion 10 minutes (strip audio from avi then convert to mp2)
plus multiplex the audio and video 1 minutes.
plus split the mpeg into 2 so can fit in 2 cd
then burn the 2 cd around 15 minutes
so total
roughly total is 2 hrs

 

Change to:

0.0174sec    0.33    5 queries    GZIP Disabled
