Stock clock and no OC? hmm.gif

Other than Prime95, you can also stress with LinX, OCCT, Realbench v2.56, AIDA64 etc. All this is listed in the Post #1.

For testing AVX stability, P95 (with AVX/FMA enabled) Custom Blend 1344K min/1344K max for 3hours+ is sufficient enough.
Small FFT will give you unrealistic load, so avoid using it unless your cooling is able to handle the heat output.

Also, watch out for the VRM temp (read via HWiNFO64 if your mobo has VRM temp sensor) as it will get hot very fast without active cooling facing toward the VRM heatsink.

oc ram is it can stress test using prime 95
*
Yes, if 90%+ RAM capacity is being stressed.
Test will terminate or error will show in certain workers in case of RAM OC failure.
This will take quite some time to see an error.
Best and fast would be RunMemtestPro, which can be downloaded right from Post #1.
However, this software will only stress the RAM alone.

How to check the VRM temp? Or need to see board, this Asrock board seems can't read the VRM.

4.9GHZ @1.23V for RealBench 4hrs
Cinebench R15 @4.9GHZ I got 1600, I got 1637 for 5.0GHZ. Pretty not much of a difference.

1.23v-1.216 = +0.02v vDrop.
This ITX mobo seems not bad in voltage/LLC control with minimal voltage fluctuation between load and idle.

I think I need watercooling only can try 5.0GHZ probably start at 1.25V. And this is an undelidded chip that's why it runs hot even when voltage is not much. For memory oc, which softwares are recommended?

Just for record fun bro haha.
Sold off my 2700X + C7HW few months ago so that I could afford to buy the 9900K + M11G.
However, just recently I bought the 2600X while awaiting for the AM4 ITX board to arrive from Taobao, the ROG Strix B450i. Will update in the Ryzen OC thread soon.

It's good to see that this little ITX board can still handle 9900K @ 5.0GHz very well.

The 6-phase VRM is able to hold up to 200W CPU power package as seen in Prime95 v26.6 Small FFTs (non-AVX):

VRM temp is 61.5C max, measured through IR thermometer (might not be accurate though):

XTU: no throttling during the benchmark

* Setup pic, I actually put one 120mm fan blowing towards the VRM area just in case. biggrin.gif

Next up would be RAM OC.
Look at the RAM OC profiles available in the UEFI, should be useful as a good starting point for RAM OC:

[TH] 9900KF May Overclock Better Than 9900K

Surprisingly, according to the mere five samples I received, the -9900KF appears to overclock better with extreme cooling than the 200 Core i9-9900K’s I’ve binned.

Cheap DDR4-4000+ is coming.
DDR4-4000 is no longer can only be achieved by Samsung, but SK-Hynix is now able to overclock that high.

4-layer boards support Hynix up to DDR4-4266
Eight-layer GODLIKE DDR4-4400
2-DIMM ITX DDR4-4600

That's some dope memory overclocking. Can the MPG Z390i achieve the same results using the same RAM?

I have yet to test these RAM modules on the MSI, perhaps later when I'm free to swap mobos again. 🙂

[TH] Samsung Rings B-Die Memory Death Knell
QUOTE
Overclockers love Samsung's B-Die memory, but the company is unceremoniously killing it off. According to the consumer DIMM section of Samsung’s latest Product Guide, B-Die memory "dies," M-Die matures, A-Die ascends, and 32GB UDIMMs really are available in Q2 2019.

A2 vs A1 vs A0 PCB

QUOTE
As you can see manufacturers try to get IC as close as possible to the contacts pin. The output can be better frequency, better timings... but be careful, new trace can have compatibility issue with old bios.
