Today I will try tighten up the subs or go straight for DDR4-4600 if possible.

That's some dope memory overclocking. Can the MPG Z390i achieve the same results using the same RAM?

Good effort appreciated. notworthy.gif It seems that AMD chips don't heat up as bad as coffee lake processors. But is the overclocked speed (eg 4.2) of AMD equivalent to Intel @ 5.0GHZ in term of performance?

Nice, but price will be higher. Warranty claim will be difficult unless international warranty, aye?

Thinking to let the Gene go as well after getting back from RMA (one RGB LED dead).

Yeah. So how long has the RMA been? replacing a new board for you?

Haven't send, need to arrange time crossing the Penang bridge in the weekdays.
Based on my previous RMA experience with this Penang Royap Club, 10days for motherboard, 7 days for graphics card.

RGB LED dead is the bulb or the header dead?

Just finished assembled my watercooling parts. Apparently @1.27V for 4.9GHZ LLC2, the CPU temp hit 93C max with full custom loop. I guess delid is the only option to get 5.0GHZ.

Using the Z390-E gaming motherboard. Pretty stable at 4.9GHZ @1.28V, LLC level 6, stable Vcore without any Vdroop, VRM Max temp around 52C, CPU Package hit 92C.

Updated.
Why now 4.9GHz compared to 5.0GHz achieved on ASRock Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac?
*
I can achieve 5.0GHZ, but only able to run cinebench and cpu-z for validation. This one just runs AIO. I think the chip can hit 5.0GHZ stable, just cooling isn't sufficient. And this is non-delidded.
