Hello Guys and Gals,

I have a question.

So the free excel macro tool that I just guggle and find. Have "Dollars" in the wording. So I simply replace the macro's "Dollars" to "Ringgits"

That should be no problem right?

I simply type some numbers out and it goes like this.

*** One Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Three Ringgits and Forty Five Cents Only ***
*** Sixty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Three Ringgits and Forty Five Cents Only ***
*** One Thousand Ringgits and No Cents ***
*** Nine Hundred Ringgits and No Cents ***
*** Six Hundred Seventy Eight Ringgits and No Cents ***
*** Two Hundred Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Nine Ringgits and No Cents ***
*** One and Fifty Cents Only ***
*** Five Hundred Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Eight Ringgits and Seventy Five Cents Only ***
*** No and Seventy Six Cents Only ***
*** Eight Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Eight Ringgits and Eighty Eight Cents Only ***

Really appreciate the help. sweat.gif sweat.gif If check bounce because of the wording I gotta eat the $10bucks damage woh.

Print just the "ringgit and cents" part or the entire cheque?

Print entire check.

4 fields.

1. Payee
2. ***Number spelled out+ cent only. *** I noted that the ringgit malaysia is already on the check, so end up I remove the ringgits.
3. Number.
4. Date

LOL you wont be able to use it. You may even kena charge for forging a cheque
The numbers at the bottom are using magnetic ink. This is for the sorters to sort out which cheque goes to which bank and branch. I am sure your printer is not capable of printing MICR codes right? hahaha.....
Besides each cheque has a unique serial number here in Malaysia and its only recognized by the issuing bank

Aiyo excuse muah, I feed the check from checkbook into lazer printer to print those 4 field.

your laser printer is using toner ink, not magnetic ink, understand?

then come back let us know how it goes.....

Thanks for the information. I must clarify... I dont mean the "entire" check. I mean just the wordings that are either usually hand written or normally inked.

(not even printing the signature part)

Doesn't matter.. the MICR is only at the bottom and it's already printed. It's entirely possible for him to do what he's planning to do, except it's "ringgit" and not "ringgits".

Thanks, I totally removed the "ringgit" for the sample "One ringgit and Zero cent" so now it is " One and Zero Cent Only"

" One thousand ringgits and Zero Cent" is now " One thousand and Zero Cent Only"

As the check already comes pre-printed with "Ringgit Malaysia"

I noticed my original set up... for "Zero Cent" it does not have the "Only" and that I added as well.
