if tyre leaks wit ha hole, it will cost only RM5 to plug the hole at tyre shop.

they will heat the rim up to knock the rim back to shape......

the bend will come back if you hit pot holes lah......so if normal driving on good surface road ok one......if hit pot holes a lot of times.....no need to say the repaired rim.......other never-repair-before rim will also be dented ma......

price to repair depends on rim size.....last time 14 inch costs about rm40....15inch costs about rm 50-60 depending on shop......

also, repair leaking tyres can be done provided the tyres are leaking on the surface that touches the road. if on the side of the tyres, very unlikely to be repaired unless the hole very small.

price is usually rm5 per leak. more if the leak is bigger. but if the leak is very big, then non-repairable.

hope this helps......

Bent so badly no point repairing, even a professional rims shop, they can't repair back to 100% alike. Trade in value should be low, i think around RM200 - RM250.

Of course its not like 100%. But no choice, that time I was so broke because of festive season.

I found that proton's stock allow rims are quite durable.. during my industrial training at prai industrial zone penang. almost 3 times a week i will drove over a pot hole for a duration of 3 months.. and 6 times during the same period driving over the drain hole.. (remember the time when metal price suddenly shoot up.. those brainless fella steal the drain cover away.)

Because of these bad condition roads, i have to change my rear absorber and the rubber mounting for the front wheels(left side torn) after the training period over. Surprizingly the rims are ok.
