U can try without pumps. Get the plumber to connect direct to your water heater. Many houses are doing this. Save on the pumps and servicing, and most likely, if grounded pumps, lightning strike.

Panasonic is good and reasonably priced. You might want to try this brand, Rubine. They were formerly known as Elba. Quite reliable and lower priced than Panasonic.
