Last time I bought it for RM165... but now looks like the price is going high as RM200++.

If you're interested to buy, you can join the bulk order by Xrossfire here:

Currently, camera function can be access from 2 methods.

1) From Chotto Shot Edit UMD (bundle with PSP camera). Loading this UMD, you will be able to take photos (maximum resolution upto 640 x 480) and also videos (maximum recording time upto 15 seconds). But, to load the UMD, you need minimum 2.82 firmware. So, since your firmware is 2.81, I think you can tryout the 'swap' method.

2) From 3.00+ XMB firmware menu function (under Photo menu). Through XMB camera function you will be able to take photos (maximum resolution upto 1280 x 960) and also videos (unlimited recording times). For this one, you don't have any other choice than upgrade your firmware to 3.00, or just wait for 2.81 downgrader, and later can upgrade to 3.03 custom firmware. tongue.gif

hmmmmm thanks for the reply, the 1280X960 is definately much more enticing, but alas have to upgrade again...... sigh shall i wait.?
argh can't make up my mind. rclxub.gif

I think i might go for the xmb also, after trying it out the whole
afternoon i find that the Edit software is bit rather limited in terms of
video and resolution.....

but it does have some cool effects though i find it bit too corny for my taste.
nonetheless here's some of me test shots tongue.gif

Chotto Shot edit is a UMD to use the Camera function(before got 3.03) rite? biggrin.gif

So its useless ah if we use 3.03? biggrin.gif

Thx!
*
Well not really useless but i think u wouldnt wanna go back to Edit once u try the 3.03 xmb. It spots a higher res option, a unlimited recording time
(Whereas Edit limits res to 640X480 and vid recording upto 15sec only.)

But Edit has alot of special templates, borders, decorations... if thats your thing.
i myself find it very corny.
