No it does not require the Chotto Shot instead you must have custom firmware Google it or refer to the homebrew thread.

the chotto shot really can take 30fps stable video? I wan record marching band competition. It is at stadium will all lights on. The show probably last for 1hr like tat. If can i now go buy chotto shot lolz. I heard some ppl say it limit time? And does it take in sound?

the limit time is based on the memory stick capacity. please note that 30fps with fine settings sure eat up more space. sound also taken.

1 hour? i took like 10 mins video it eaten like 200mb of my memcard space..

can i ask? is there any english ver. of chotto shot umd software available on the market?

i heard that there will going to release chotto shot in english version..call GoShot or GoCam (sumtin like dat).. it is still the same 1.3megapixel cam, but just in english.. so i think u can wait for that one,...

oh.. then mean chotto shot got record sound? then that's good.. becos but vcam so exp and use phone record even O2 atom also only 5fps per second le..

as u all know, SCE Europe has release the european version of CHOTTO SHOT, A.K.A Go!Cam and launch an editing sw called Go!Edit, this editing sw comes with the cam and for those who has already owned chotto shot,it is available for download at playstation europe site(MUST REGISTER UR PSP THERE!! and the psp must be 1002 bcoz its an eu site... )
hehehe... happy to inform u guyz that im one of them!!
i must share this with all u guyz at lowyat bcoz i know how frustrating to use the JAP version hehehehe.....
