Only if you do not commit the following logical fallacies:1) Anecdotal fallacy
2) Appeal to authority
3) Shifting the burden of proof fallacy
4) No true scotsman fallacy
5) Black and White fallacy
6) Ad hominem fallacy
There are many more logical fallacies that can be made in a discussion/argument, but the ones above are the most common ones.
As long you do not commit any of them, you are one step away from flaming, trolling, and generalizing.
