Easy way to see your spec:

Start - All programs - Electronics Art - Battlefield 2142 - EasyInfo

have fun wif your new PC, My setting are all low too except texture filtering to Medium, try it if you want to see the ground look abit better.

dude, it does have texture. Just low texture. If no texture than you would see only white models with shadows.

with 2 GB RAM and that high end card you *should* be able to run at high without lag. I wouldnt guarantee it in titan firefights though, and tense huge firefights in full load 64 player servers you will see some slowdown but should still be very playable. But all in all you will get considerably improved frame rates at high settings. I expect about 27-30 FPS average.

I can get around 37-50 frames per second on my AGP 7600GS.

Specs:

AMD Athlon Barton 2500 (oc'ed to 19Ghz from 1.87)
1GB KVR RAM
Audigy 2
Nvidia Nforce 2 mobo

If i can run at 80settings on medium, i don't see why you can't run at high. But there's minimal difference between high and medium settings.

Ok.like i said i set my settings to low.But when i run its shacking u know, same as otheer player in the server. What cause this??Is it my setting,my card OR the server???

On the manual it says "An outdated video or sound drive can lead to slow and choppy gameplay" Is this true?

Your current CPU speed & ram is holding you back. Since you upgrading new mobo and memory, don't forget to upgrade your CPU next. 1.7GHz won't handle well in intense situation especially on Titan maps.

I've had to oc to 1.9GHz bcause my bottleneck is at the proc. So don't forget your proc. No use using a 1.7GHz proc with an X1900.

err..this is amd right? so 1.9 should be like 3ghz on intel... but intel 3gig plays this game fine with 1gig ram and 6600gt(my bro's rig)...
