Just funded my Oanda Fxtrade account yesterday
with USD500.00 using PayPal. Took less than
2 hours before the funds are deposited into my
new trading account. Much better turnaround time
than by using bank TT, which will take a couple
of days. Only snag is the 2.9% charge plus USD0.30
per deposit. Withdrawal back to PayPal is free though.

Now trading live....

hi all, i am very very new here. can anyone teach me how to get an account in forex? i tried online application on forex.com. it asks me to send some documents to them, is this a must-do process?

Anyone heard of FXDD broker in US? I think this broker quite new.

Can someone be kind enough to post information regarding how to do Online Forex Tradings ON THE 1ST PAGE? The 1st page is more about introduction but has little insight on how to "Get in the Game."

1.Information like how to open an online account.

2.What are the best & reliable online Forex sites. Which country better? Is there any local sites? Or "Physical" Forex market where we can visit?

3.What are the typical requirements to open an account?

4.How do you transfer money in and out for the site.

5.What are the cost & charges? Service/Commision/BankCharges??? Any difference if you use different country sites since cost of transfering money from Europe back to Malaysi will be much higher than Malaysia to Europe.

6.Does FOREX fluctuate as much as Stocks in short time? Is it more of a long term investment?

7.The Buy/Sell price is it based on actual market rates or depend on the Forex Site? Banks normally have their own rates.

I'm particularly concerned with the cost incurred during transfering of cash flow, like Bank Charges, expensive rates etc since FOREX tends to be more stable than Stock Exchanges, lesser risk but also lower return, thus need to keep any cost at minimum.
Also regarding e-Gold. I notice there are two steps for 1 transaction to receive actual money in your bank, 1st is e-Gold-to-e-Gold transaction and the other is the bank-to-bank transaction:
Say you are A, the Exchanger site is B, and e-Gold is C. When A wants to get money back from B, B 1st have to get E-Metal from C, once B got the e-Metal A requested, B will do a bank transfer to A's bank account. That means there's actually the cost for e-Gold & also Bank Transaction. While Paypal charges more on transaction, there's actually only 1 step which involves direct transaction between Paypal and your bank. But I guess both methods are similiar, just that you need a 3rd party for e-gold while you deal directly with Paypal.

Does anyone could answer all these questions? I also would like to know the answer.

The No. 1 Forex Broker is DBFX (Deutsche Bank) minimum USD5000 investment. One thing i'm very sure that my money will be more secure in this bank.
